Yes, it's true... It's been 'out there' since she first joined
Neighbours She has a Yougoslavian (sp) backround therefore hence the actual surname. Alot of celebs change there names/last names when they join shows such as
Neighbours because 1) it doesnt cause them hassle and 2) it often proves difficult for the media to pronounce etc

This is in Today's Herald Sun in the HIT section of the paper and it's a review of her new single State Of Mind and this is what is says: A smart way to deal with Holly's um, vocal prowess is to add more electronic processing than a supermarket scanner. The result is a killer, edgy tune mixing '80s new wave and electro clash. Forget the court case, she's a winner here. It was given 3 and a half stars.

I never knew that. Like blue*star said a lot of people change their last names for a number of reasons. I read somwhere in an interview with Carla Bonner (aka Steph Scully) that Bonner is not her real surname either. I think her real surname is of German descent, but decided to change it to Bonner.

talking of Holly Valance's new single, I don't think anybody frin GMTV likes it, I watched the Lorraine Kelly bit on Wednesday morning and she and this expert watching the video and decided that the vid was a flop! she said that the video was too rauchy, too nudy and too offensive for young viewers
glad they didn't like it!

Holly Valance said she is determined not to be broken by the financial shock of her costly court battle with her former manager.
Speaking for the first time since former manager Scott Michaelson was awarded more than $350,000 in damages, plu court costs which could reach $500,000, an upbeat Valance said it was "time to move on".
The singer's chart and financial fortunes could improve this week with the launch of her new album, State Of Mind. "So I'm poor at 20, So are most 20-year-olds," she said

I found this review about her new album State of Mind and this is what is says about it:
HOLLY'S first album housed three hits but sold far more modestly than she dresses; now it's make or break.
Pleasingly, State of Mind al least has a vision-her debut tried to cover as many bases as possible.
The songwriting brief here was sexy, '80s electro pop with attitude.
When it works it's jaw-dropping:the title track is a thrilling mixture of Blondie, Kylie and a computer on the blink and is Holly's finest-and most fitting-moment to date.
Kylie's producer Steve Anderson serves up the heavy sass of Roll Over and the very-Kylie esque sulty electro of Hypnotic with a no to Kiss Kiss's exotic feel.
And Rick Nowels' Action rocks in a Flashdance soundtrack way.
But the formula soon wears thin, with neither Holly's voice nor the tunes as trong as they should be.
The Verdit: 2 stars
In a word: Holey
Other releases: Footprints (2002)

I found this in a newspaper and i thought i would share what it say's with you all and so this is what it says:
HOLLY Valance says her own music annoys her and she switches off the radio every time Kiss Kiss is played.

Speacking to German music mag Prinz, she said: "The song went to number one and was in the charts for months. I have to say now it annoys me. When it comes on the radio, i quickly change the station".
