Everyone thinks its NMNI, but i just thought about and it makes sense that it could be "Longer."
Delta always mentions in interviews, that when they are on the topic of Blair, she always said she was too busy and didn't have time for him so they decided to not be bf and gf.
I am caught in the middle with Longer and nmni.

I thought the same aswell. I always thought it was "longer" and the reason i tend to not believe it is nmni because i thought that blair and delta parted on good terms and nmni to me suggests that things were not. So im not sure.

You know i never thought bout 'Longer' being the song on the album that wrote about Blair, but thinking bout it now, thats probably the song more so than NMNI because as you said Karly NMNI suggests that they parted on bad terms and i dont think that was the case. (though i could be wrong)

I like to think its nmni because it seems more emotional and like it was a big break up!

Well, she said we had to listen to it and tell her which one we think it is.

I just read in another thread that 'My Big Mistake' was not written by Delta thus it may not be about Blair.

thinking bout it...i havnt a clue which one it is! mayb one day we shall find out...if not pick ya fav n say its that in that case its "My big mistake"

I don't believe 'Longer was written about Blair. Just the way she says what the songs about...doesn't fit it i don't think.
But Not Me, Not I was one of the last tracks written for the album..so that's around January-March time we are talking about it been written.
Who knows. There are quite a few tracks on the album that i believe could be it.
Was Blair really Delta's first heartbreak...

i think it is not me not i. If you look on her website she says why she wrote all the songs and with nmni she said it was written about a hard break up that she had. So i am guessing that it is about blair. P.S. He is really hot

i thought it could be about Blair cheating on Delta-because it says stuff about Delta not noticing

i still think its nmni, and its my fave song, so that settles it

I hope 'My Big Mistake' isn't so much about Delta, it seems like she did a bad thing and i don't like to think of Delta doing anything bad or wrong!!!

this makes it seem like she didn't apologise for something bad...maybe i'm just over thinking!!!

She wrote this song with Gary Barlow, Eliot Kennedy and Tim Woodcock, so maybe it was their imputs that were the mistake made!!! I prefer to think of one of them making a big mistake not Delta!!!

I think i'll go for 'Longer' even though i imagine Delta getting off a bus and seeing it drive away with someone who she didn't talk to, but want to so much!
(that because of my personal experience...the bus drove away with a nice guy on it and i didn't do anything, i should have!)

My Big Mistake was Gary Barlow... don't think its that and I don't think its a 'big mistake' because that would imply she regretts focussing on her music which she obv does not.

NMNI is quite a negative song and makes it sound like Blair was a liar and cheat - so I think its probably Longer yeah!

I don't think it is 'my big mistake' because that is not autobiographical.

I find it hard to beleive it it NMNI because the song just seems to harsh and the relationship seems a destructive, unenjoyable one. Delta and Blair are still friends and I don't see why that would be or why she would thank him on the album if he lied to her and hurt her so much. If Delta wanted us to know which one it was she would have told us, so why would she give such a clue as 'it was about my first real heartbreak' I think Longer is a real possibility. I just don't buy the idea that it is NMNI.

If it is...then I'm not liking Blair half as much as I did.

Yeh he also said he did some things that did not make her very happy.

Maybe it's both songs..you know..NMNI could be about how her heart was broken and Longer could be about why they broke up..or something

I don't know if some of you youngens have experienced what she is talking about:
My understanding of the song has to do with seeing that person that you see for like 2-3 mins every day..catching the bus, getting your coffee, renting videos..whatever

And wondering if anything could come of it-it's like a physical attraction that doesn't have a chance to develop into anything else

I remember reading something somewhere (cant remember where) but Delta said that she hardly saw as much of Blair as you would expect (seeing as they are both in Neighbours.)But they were never in many scenes together and so would not have seen as much of each other.

I think that it may have been NM,NI ("I wrote this after a breakup") or whatever but that is also a good view!

I have to say that I definatly dont think it was longer because I agree with the other person (sorry that is what i refer to u as) about how its like seeing them for 2-3 mins each day and I'm not sure bout NMNI because..well it just doesnt sound like what she has explained and erm well My Big Mistake..yeh I think that is the one because she said when she broke up with him it was because of her singing and he was acting so they didnt see that much evebn though they work together and they just went sepertae ways and thast is what it says in the song

Yeah just the lyrics, i've been thinking about it for a couple of weeks adn Predictable is on the top of my list

Yeah, that blair guy(i dont know his name) seems like the kinda guy she talks about in the song--It's hard to say without meeting him, but One of my mates is so much like him it's scary.....Whoever it is, she is saying that they are full of ---just in a nicer way

But like I say It's hard to know if thats the case

I'm confused now! I thought it was definitely NMNI thats why i never really thought of the others! but surely Delta has had more than one boyfriend anyway? So maybe NMNI is about one of her other boyfriends? I'm starting to think that Longer is the song written for Blair!
