Its only like my favourite movie of all time!

I have it on DVD too, and watch it all the time.
I absolutely love it; and I think it's so much more than just the story Jack and Rose.
The soundtrack is beautiful. I love playing some of the music on piano

I agree, one of my all time fav movies, i might actually watch it sometime today, i haven't watched it in a while. I love the soundtrack as well, it is very relaxing and it can put me to sleep it is so relaxing and calming. yeah, even though it is essentially a love story between Jack and Rose, i love that it includes other little storylines of other passengers. although the love story part is not based on something that really happened, it does give you an idea of what those poor people must have been thinking and feeling when the real ship went down. I also love how they have footage of the real shipwreak deep down in the ocean.

Got the soundtracks and the deluxe edition of the video(the film cell one) not upgraded to DVD yet. They're currently building a second Titanic, due to be launched in 2012 on the anniversary of either the putting to sea or the sinking.

I remember the day it came out on video. We went to the city and bought it, and the Myer windows had the Titanic outfits. We spent the rest of the day watching it. Now I have it on DVD.
It is sad when the Titanic is sinking and the Mum is putting her kids to bed, reading them a story. They usually cut parts out of it to make it shorter when it is on TV.

I just love it too - Love the soundtrack aswell - espectially "My heart will go on" really beautiful but emotional.

For those of you in Melbourne(sorry it's not going anywhere else) you can view artifact from the ship and replicas of the cabins and grand staircase not sure if they'll have footage of the ship though, the exhibition will be at Melbourne Museum from May 17th to October 17th I think.

there was another movie prior to Titanic that won 11 Oscars, Ben-Hur in 1959, Lord of the Rings, the return of the king is the only other movie to equal Titanic's and Ben-Hur's record of 11 oscars. For those Titanic fans who are in Melbourne from the 14th of May to the 17th of October here's the info on the artifact exhibit I did some online searching.http://www.titanicmelbourne.com/default.html

Its just a classic.. nothing can compare to it, the idea that they say that avatar is better is just stupid. You cant compare a modern day movie to a classic.

They make jokes out of it now. I Don't know if anyone has seen it. But there is this dramatic ad with this lady about to give birth and she says reallllllllllllllllly dramatically 'jackk..I'll hold your hand' ...etc (with other quotes said dramatically with lots of 'about to give birth' breathing )while rushing into a hospital ward. It's like WTF?? then the ending turns out to be a SKY TV ad. It's like oh-kay then. I hate that ad.
I like the movie. It's really romantic. I saw it once when I was about 7 years old. I never saw it again (it's too sad for me). But the scene of the flooding and when Jack drowns is really good.

I went to this exhibition a few months ago when it was in New York.
I really enjoyed it, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's interested. The only thing though, is that it's A LOT of reading... I mean, all the exhibits are artefacts with signs on them that you have to read through, so it's quite exhausting if you want to read it all (took about 2 hours).
They did have headphones and a cassette with the signs recorded on them so you could listen instead of reading, but it cost an extra $15 on top of the ticket price to hire the headphones so I didn't get it.
Also, with a few of the exhibits they wouldn't tell you what they were unless you had hired the headphones, which was a bit mean, because the ticket price was already kinda expensive.
It was heaps of fun, they recreated one of the hallways on the ship and the grand staircase. On your ticket is the name of a real titanic passenger with their age and class, and at the end of the exhibition you look up your passenger's name on the wall to see if they survived.

I got a museum membership for easter so I'll be able to go as often as I want to and maybe hire the headphones once or twice.

I have been mesmerized with the Titanic movie for as long as I can remember. This is the greatest love story of them all. The actors are amazing. Leo and Kate were a great couple. Who ever gave this movie less than 3 stars doesn't have a good taste in movies!

I like the story. Celine Dion singing was the best part I reckon. Well not part of the story really...but

I love the romance, but I can't watch the ending. It's a bit too much for me. As soon as they hit the ice-berg. I turn it off

good idea, you don't want to see the Titanic sink below the waves, to find out what happened to the necklace, to see Billy Zane be spat on by Kate Winslet.

The Movie in 3D, i get a sense of fear when its 2D, I'd probs suffer a heart-attack or something if I saw it in 3D and you saw the stern of the boat coming down you!
I think i watched something that said the boat didn't just split in 2, it split into 3 parts. in half, but the bottom is whole and broken off too?

TITANIC What a movie film directed, written, co-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron about the sinking of the RMS Titanic. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater, two members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ill-fated maiden voyage of the ship.i love to watch.
