Ok guys so ITL was a vital part to Delta's sucess so far in the USA. And we were a cause to the video's success. But now the video is off, but there is still some ways to get people to notice her. Here is a few ideas that I have come up with to build her fanbase.

Other USA forums- There are millions of em'. But i would target the smaller ones before the larger ones. Because you can get your point across better and members on small forums tend to read every post because they want read every post that could bring their forum to stardom (belive me, i did it with my site).

Youtube- I have already brought this up. We could use ghostmouse to up the views of ITL on Youtube. Someone mentioned that the artist could be sued if they found out that we used ghostmouse. But i don't see anything hurt if we just use it once in a while.

Myspace- everybody has one. So it would be easy to get someone's attention with a fanbase profile. I have already made one, and I have tried to bombard everybody, but it is very time consuming!! So I think if we bond together and invite people constantly, it would eventually start to build up.

Voting for Jon- Voting for Jon on Vh1 would be like voting for Delta. Because that would get him popular, and the more people that go to his concerts (at least for now anyways) they would see Delta, and fall in love with her that way.

So those are my ideas. Any more anybody want to add?

We could watch the video on VH1 and get it more popular. The video refreshes after each play so it could be like leaving ghost mouse on but we don't have to actually use it. Obviously only American fans could do this but it'd still make the video popular on VH1's website.

That could work

Just be careful though, leaving it playing while I slept one night crashed my internet so it'd probably be better just to leave it playing for an hour or two.

yeah that's a really good idea. I'd do it if the VH1 site let me lol.

I've been considering sticking up random posters for the CD at my college lol but I can't decide if that's too tacky or not lol.

I want to get my hands on a tour t-shirt when the tour starts too so I can wear it like EVERYWHERE and then people will ask me about it lol.

Even little things like at school, if you decorate your stuff with pics of celebs or pics from magazines and stuff, put a pic of her in there or a scrap of paper you wrote some lyrics on. I have a day planner that has a slot in the front where you can put a 4x6 and I put a pic of her and I leave it out on my desk while I'm working, and people sitting around me always ask who she is. One of the girls in my class knows her by name and knows her whole story now.

Get her to perform on The 101 on Direct TV. whistling.gif Just today I was watching the Katy Perry performance (for the thousandth time), and after her performance a guy (who I'd never heard of before) called Ferras came out and performed. And I swear, I thought he was a male version of Delta. ohmy.gif For the most part it was just him and the piano, doing power ballads and stuff. It was really good. And maybe a month ago on the same show I saw someone (again who I'd never heard of before) called Sia. I watched it and thought she was cool. So the next day I went out and bought her album. whistling.gif And since the show gets repeated (over and over and over again), it could give Delta good exposure.

For people outside the US, you can use a US proxy too and it'll let you view stuff that's only viewable in the US. That's what I did with CTV laugh.gif

He sang right before her at the one concert in Buffalo (the first time I finally saw Delta in person *squeeee* lol). I'd only ever heard his one song cuz they used it on American Idol, but yeah he's good. That's really the way to do it though; get them to use ITL on AI or The Hills or DWTTS or a show like that. I bought The Fray's CD solely because I heard them on Grey's and loved the song and their whole CD is fantastic. I just downloaded another song last week from Grey's by some band I've never heard of lol.

Kelly, I go to proxy.com (I think?) and enter vh1.com into it and it will find a site that accepts it.

That first idea is really good! There's a community posting board at my college; I should stick something up there... Even just a picture of the CD that says, "LISTEN!!" hehe.

I've got my picture with Delta (from the Here Comes the Sun festival) as my computer background, and a couple of people who've seen it have asked who was in the picture with me. Usually it's, "She's so pretty! Is she a friend of yours?" so then I get to explain who she is and hope that one day, these inquiring people will check out her music! happy.gif
