hey.. just a quick suggestion...

um.. there should be an option to block users when you dont want them reading all your posts!

coz im sure theres certain users on here that you dont want them knowing what your doing and vice versa!

so once you've blocked them.. you become invisible to them and they cannot see you or your posts!

im just getting fed up with certain people reading things that i have posted and then being accused that its aimed at them!

it gets annoying! and yes i know you can always report them... but theres no need for that! so a simple block user button should be available!

Well you can ignore people. I dont know if they can still pm you or anything. But if they do pm you, just delete it?!

Edit: but the ignoring doesn't make them ignore you. You just ignore them.

I'm pretty sure when you ignore a user you get the option whether or not you want to view their PM or something...

i just tested it out on a friend..

so all their posts are blocked... which is great...

but they can still see everything that i write!

so i think they need to really change that bit to block it both ways..

and i just checked the messages.. and they can still message you!

But this forum software does not have feature of blocking others from viewing your post sorry. Unless there is a add-on for it...which I doubt.

it would be simple... just say i wanted to block you... basically everything that i write.. you cant see... and i wouldnt be able to see your posts!

but anyways... i still think there should be something like that!

But what if like someone important blocks you, then they post like "OMG DELTA SUPER UPDATE" or soemthing, then they can't read it. That's not fair.

All i know is that there's a way for you to block users that you dont want to see their posts...

IDK if there's a mod that'll let you block users from reading your topics...and like Martin said about the Delta Braking News and stuff...It's not really fair for that certain member.

Sadly it wouldn't be do-able as the settings would only only work when they were logged in so they would have to make the board only readable when you are logged in.

They would also have to remove the quoting feature as if someone quotes you then they could read that.

You can though as said block someone from pming you and stop their posts from displaying.

If certain people are harrassing you just block them on the forum and block them from pming you. That way nothing that they say you will see!
