i have a suggestion that i think most of you will agree to
i think the forum signature limit should be extended
not the signature 'size' 500x200 is a good size
but the actual limit...
to put a little bit of writing and change the colours and centre it and make it bold and stuff takes up a lot of room & by the time we do that, you can't have a lot of text...i think it should be a minimum of 5 lines or there abouts

Well only recently it was pushed up to 300 characters, so don't push your luck

300 characters seems like heaps but really it's not

it was 200 before that.

I complained because it would say it was too long after 175 characters. So be greatful for 300 It hink.

yeah it is annoying there. But the limit is bigger and can fit a nice decent sized sig there and center it without it saying..."OVER THE LIMIT"

Becky once apon a time sigs couldn't be bigger then 500 by 150.

So stop complaining and just be greatful for what you have.

I think 99% of the forumers are happy with it as it is.

I think the signatures are fine the way they are now. Makes for easy scrolling.

I think I saw someone who used a massive wallpaper pic as their sig.
Never saw it again. Must have removed it

yeah, the codes do take up a lot of room. Its not really that right since they dotn actually show in your sig

I guess it's hard for people who have to credit signatures too. Because that takes up a number of spaces.

yeah. personally i think people should tag their work & have the user not have to credit in their signature because if it says *inserts care of symbol here* heidi or whatever, people know automatically who made it. but it's fair enough what people want.

yes the credit thing is hard to fit in. You want to say thanks to someone, but also want to put in a few words of love to delta in too.
Like if heidi had a different sig, she'd have to credit the person. But it would be hard to squish in that little limit.

Also when you put the centering and left and right html tags in, that takes up space too

Its not a big problem or anything. Im glad I managed to fit my stuff in
I like to write I love delta in my sig, its all personal choice really

it's not really an issue for me. i have a few problems fitting my name into my signature with the actual signature + BA tour stuff. but y'know, i don't really need my name in there anymore. i only had to have it before because friends didn't recognise me...now i've had my username changed they will.
but if it was increased, i'd make my stuff more fancy.

there's gotta be a limit for signature (image) size. Some people put like HUGE images and it makes the page so slow.

But it wouldnt hurt to increase the signute size to like 500x350
it would be awesome. but im glad with the way we have now too

i don't mean the size though.
i meaan the number of characters we can have in our signature. i like to colour text and have different fonts and stuff. can't be too creative under these limits.

It's hard fitting all the colour codes, font codes, centered/sided codes and bold or italic codes in PLUS the writing you want in there PLUS the picture signature.
