There are some things on other forums that I think would be good on this one:

~*~ If it was 'Today's Top 15 or 20 Posters', instead of 10. (It is interesting to see who posted the most. 'Overall Top 20 Posters' would be good as well, but I don't know if that can be changed).

~*~ If you could comment on people's profiles.

~*~ If you could delete your own posts if you post the same thing more than once by accident or for any other reason.

~*~ If there was a topic where people could post what topics they would like started. At the end of every month, the most requested topics could be in a poll and the ones with the most votes could be started.

~*~ If you could delete your own account if you know you won't visit the forum anymore. (If you haven't been on for a very long time and have never posted/only had about 100 posts).

i only agree with one of those suggestions.
i think you should be able to delete your own posts.
the others wouldn't make much difference.
except for maybe the one about being able to comment on profiles.
i guess that would stop people filling people's PM boxes.

My opinions.
1. A bit stalkerish.. I don't really care if anyone looks at my profile, and I certainly wouldn't keep a check on it.
2. Quite like this one, even if its a bit pointless.
3. I sometimes look at that, usually I'm shocked as to how people manage 100+ posts a day.. spammers!
4. Don't look at anyones, unless I want their msn, which is rarely. But I'd never comment, so not for me.
5. Good idea. However people could abuse it by posting nasty things and then deleting them. Mind you, they can edit posts now.. so I guess its not that much different.
6. Wouldn't work. People post what they want to when they want to, that's the idea of a free forum.
7. Can see the logic in this one, but there's always a chance if you leave you'll want to come back at a later stage.

I like the top 20 idea.

*how are you meant to stalk people? I honestly hate this idea.

* I don't really like it.... If you wanna find out what someone's looking at click on them.. That'll only take make the forum slower.

*top 10s fine.

*That's cool. But defeats the purpose of pm'ing.

*Legal reasons..

*If you wanna start a topic, start the topic..

*People change their minds.

You can see the top 1 - 10000 Posters if you click the next page
It goes on and on.

I actually like all the Ideas... I think They are all good!
