hahah yup it was like wat happened with gossip girl on foxtel, we only got the first half or something becuase of the writers strike and they just showed the final ones over the last couple of weeks!
thats what happened with private practice. only the first 9 eps were shown but 13 more have been filmed, although it was a pretty good finale of the 9 hey!

hopefully we get the next 13 straight after these 9!


and seaso two has been confirmed as well for a full 22 ep season!

its oinly started recently, and ive had so much time on my hands cause of holidays! i cant help it!

Isnt there only 9 episodes of season 1.
then in October they go straight into season 2.
Because after the writers strike they didnt film anymore episodes thats why Kate Walsh did the episode of GA instead and then they started filming again but thats for season 2 which starts in october in the US?

I may be completely wrong but im pretty sure thats how there doing it?

I was ready an interview today about the 2nd season of PP

Grey's Anatomy spinoff Private Practice did not work as well as McPherson hoped in its rookie season. So he has ordered changes in the show's direction. There will be less cutting up in the break room and more cutting in the operating room.

"The best episodes of the show were when medical dramas were juxtaposed against the personal stories," McPherson said. "When it just became kind of a soap opera about these people's lives, there was a lot of talking, a lot of time in the coffee room talking about their angst. That's not the show. We're going to get (Kate Walsh's) character back to actually doing surgery."

This edict won't apply only to Walsh's Dr. Addison Montgomery. "I think one of the things we all felt was that it didn't feel like a real business. It didn't feel like there were real stakes, like a hospital," McPherson said. "They really do have to get back to doing surgery. They really do have to worry about the reality of healthcare and actually helping people, saving people, as opposed to kind of just being this eco-friendly, nice place to be."

But isn't that just Grey's but in LA?
