It's the first time I see the performance show in full and it did not disappoint. Cyndi Lauper's advice and very unorthodox warm-up methods are invaluable, and hopefully will help the finalists for the remainder of the competition.
I think the best performers tonight are Luke, Madam, Chrislyn and Roshani. Teale, Sophie and Brooke also delivered. Tom had a shocking night and could be in the bottom three.

A new piece of advice on voting has been posted on the Idol website:

i've always liked sophie, and she did great tonight, but i think i preferred brooke and chrislyn, they were fantastic chrislyn almost made me cry, and i could see she was about to aswell!

Yep I agree! Cyndi is amazing, she really helped them, you could see the improvements in all of them, which was really good to see! I actually really enjoyed the performances tonight haha.

I think Tom should go tomorrow.

Tom will probably stick around for awhile, which sucks.

i loved how Cyndi managed to work with them all! she has a great technique... i learnt a lot too! haha im gonna try some of her teaching techniques and i hope i can sing better hahaha

i loved loved Brookes, Madams, Roshani and Chrislyns performances!

omg.. tommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm should be kicked out... that little kid isnt ready for show! sorry.. no offence! but he needs to do a bit of growing up first!!

As much as Tom looks like Matt Corby, he hasn't won me over.

IT'S been registering good ratings numbers for Channel 10, but voting problems on Australian Idol have raised the eyebrows of fans forced to pay twice to vote.
Confidential has seen a series of automated text messages sent to some viewers who tried to save last week's evictee, Jonny, but received an incorrect message stating, "The Idol you voted for isn't in the bottom 3" despite his nomination last Sunday night.
Fans who then voted again effectively paid twice to register their choice.
Those who received the incorrect message were later sent this: "Sorry for the incorrect return message you received from Idol on Monday. The fault has now been resolved."
Ten admitted "a technical error" but confirmed the outcome had been "audited twice and reviewed by Ernst & Young".
"The outcome is the same: Jonny received the lowest number of votes."

Brooke was amazing lastnight! Betty Davis Eyes was a perfect song choice for her, she aced it!

Chrislyn brang tears to my eyes - Also, her 2nd week where she got people giving her a standing ovation.

I enjoyed Luke's performance. Wes was great. Roshani was good,

I didn't go too much on Mark's performance. Sophie was better than last week. Madam was also pretty good.

I really don't like Teale, Tom or Thanh.

There has been some hopeless performers this year: Thanh, Tom and Brooke mostly.

I think its just to the fact that they may just be really young.. and the pressure must be so intense for them. I reckon this show should be for at least 20 plus year olds. The pressure must be soo great.
