Mark didn't even sound sick. They mentioned it like 100 times before he sung, and I think he was quite surprised by the positive feedback the judges gave.

Brooke Addamo is the one who's father commited suicide when she was little and her step dad adopted her. I know it sucks that that's the only way I remember her. But she is talented.

Brooke just performed a Jewel classic Foolish Games. It's beautiful but the judges were not happy that she had chosen to sing another ballad, making it six in a row in front of the judges. Brooke said she wanted to establish herself then when she qualified, she would be able to unleash her best.
