I was a little dissapointed with Chrislyn's performance..i thought it was going to be better..it's a shame because i like her. I agree with what Martin said to a degree, i don't think she should leave the show, but she does deserve a spot in the bottom 3.

Sophie and Teale bored me, especially Sophie. Aaaah Anna's Song is somewhere in my top 50 of all time songs! it's great...and she murdered it! Teale was so good last week, and this week, i just didn't feel it.

Thanh murdered Shadow Of The Day..I just really don't like him, something about his personality..aah. He just comes forward as a know it all about music. He's annoying.

its hard when singers like sophie just aren't rock singers, and thats all there is to it. i really like sophie but i knew she wasn't going to be in her thing for rock week, and thats ok, i don't like rock music all that much either

oh some more comments....

did anyone else think that thanh actually DIDN'T make some of those big notes, despite what the judges said? cos he just made me wince at some points

sure luke, mark, and wes did really well, but thats to be expected

i didn't like roshani's performance, sure it was hard rock, but her voice REALLY didn't suit it...

I saw the other seven performances on the website this morning. I actually thought Luke's performance was powerful. Roshani was the standout of the night. Wes was great. Sophie, Teale and Chrislyn were OK.
Thanh was ... meh.
I think Thanh and Chrislyn will be in the bottom 3, can't decide who else will join them.

YOU never never know when you're going to have to go, but for Australian Idol contestant Luke D!ckens, the call to be by his girlfriend's side for the birth of their child came too late.
With D!ckens' baby boy making an early appearance - he was due in December - the show had to go on for girlfriend Brooke Rodgers, who delivered during Monday's live verdict show.
While the country crooner hopped on the first plane to Canberra, the as yet unnamed arrival touched down in the hospital before he did.
"I'm spewing I didn't make it, but I'm stoked that Brooke and the little bub are doing well,'' D!ckens said yesterday.
"It will be hard leaving the little tacker and my girl, but I've gotta keep going on this Idol rollercoaster and make the most of it while I can.''
