Toadie and crew have a dog, the sculleys have a dog, the kennedys have a dog (and a sheep and bird but they're not important in this point) everyone seems to have dogs, even Valda has them, Harold has no pets for obvious reasons and the hoylands just don't but why may i ask does no-one have a cat??? Do cats not exist in Australia??? that makes me think, i don't think anyone in Home and Away has pets...not that we talk about H+A on here!!!

hehe and most of them seem to be cross bighon friese/maltese or poodles!

cats are too hard to have on camera i think. dogs are highly trainable, the sheep is just plain stupid, i think it is more anicdotal than anything. the galah is also trainable i'd say.

But yep, it's the training. I've seen behind the scenes of Neighbours once and the bird is very easy to train. Although it likes to be stupid sometimes

was sarah related to anyone in the characters? Lou was married to Cheryl, who was... Darren's (libbys bad boyfriend) and ... Catherine's (Mal Kennedy's girlfriend) mother. I think Sarah was related to Catherine somehow? Sister's weren't they? So wouldn't that make Bob, Lou's step-daughter's dog? Unless they were not realted... maybe they were just flatmates or something.

If my cousin saw this post he would be laughing and yelling that I am a "guru" on neighbours because I know about all the old characters and stuff.

The Kennedys dont have a dog! they looked after Valda's dog but they dont have one themselves.

I thought the Kennedy's had a dog called Audrey? Maybe Im gettin confused..I definately thought there was a dog called Audrey in it...is it theirs?

actually Audrey is the dog that Libby and Drew adopted, and it is now living with Libby and the rest of the kennedys...Susan walked Audrey when she was walking Valda's dogs once so maybe you got a bit confused there

ive never seen it aswell the only dog i have seen there is valdas dog

the kennedys do still have Audrey in the UK, we just don't see her very often, not like Harvey or Bob, she's like Nina, comes around once in a while!!!

But yes, Sarah and Catherine were sisters. Well, half-sisters, to be exact, which is why they have different surnames.

Yeh i only just realised

I guess cats are harder to film in front of the camera, whereas dogs can be easily trained.
