When Delta releases the new american album next month (OMG ONLY A MONTH) will it be available in Canadian stores as well or is this a strictly American release?

It's more like two months, but I am assuming that considering the fact that she is on a different record label, it will be a different release. Maybe not by too much, but it should still be different.

I think it'll probably be the same here, even tho there's the 2 diff labels, at least at the big US chain stores that we have here. If it is delayed, I'll get an extra copy in NY and send it to you Jennifer . Since it comes out on my bday, I don't think my mom can refuse letting me go over to the US to get it lol.

I'm not sure, but I did buy Innocent Eyes at Wal-Mart so I'm assuming her album will be available at Wal-Mart and Best Buy...

I think it was actually released in Canada though. It was on the Canadian iTunes store for the longest time.

I haven't seen it in any stores here, and I usually check Delta's section every time (cuz I'm a loser like that, and look even tho I already have all the cds they would have ).

I've never been able to find Delta at a Wal-Mart either, but Future Shop, Best Buy, and HMV usually have her.

Well I checked Wally mart heheh and HMV and neither have her but next time I'm at Future I'll check, even though I already have all those cd's too lol. Future shop usually has an enormous selection.

Hello fellow Canadian fans! I expect we'll be seeing the new album here soon. I'm not sure about the release, but even if the American version isn't released here, we can still buy it in the states or order it online. I definately plan to get a copy (and I've already got a copy of both the Australian and Japanese versions)!

And there was a Canadian release of IE but it never got promoted cuz Delta got sick.

Yeah Innocent Eyes was released in August 2004 in Canada... I have audio from radio interviews she did in Toronto. She did promote the album a little - she was there for about 2 weeks and the was a Canadian website.

Yeah, I actually went to Canada in August 2004, but I went to Vancouver so I had no chance of seeing Delta.
I did see Innocent Eyes in the shops, and there was also a huge picture outside an HMV advertising the album.
However, when I went to Canada earlier this year, I couldn't find the album anywhere.

Question for our fellow Canadian forumers...have you bought ITL from the Canadian iTunes store? I saw it was available the other day!

I haven't yet because my stupid laptop died and I'd bought my two copies of the album lol so I wanted to wait until my credit card bill came. I already had a lot of Delta explaining to do lol. I'm onto next month's bill now though lol and I found a loonie in my wallet, so as soon as my laptop comes back from the shop, I'm getting it.

Yeah, I got it at Wal-Mart in 2003-2004 and there was this poster that had 4 album covers, one of them being IE, with "Artists to watch out" or something like that.



She sure did! In the tour book, there's a picture of her holding a CTV Canada AM coffee mug and bellow the picture she wrote Canada!

I cannot find an album of Delta in Holland anymore. Most of the time you could find IE. But now....nothing. Hopefully that'll change

I have checked EVERY store possible (Future, Wal Mart, and HMV, Those are the only ones we have here) and none of them have any Delta. And my friends always make fun of me because I check that section everytime. Hahaha.

I'm going to talk to Mad Dog and Billie and try to get them to pick up ITL. That station was the first one in Canada to play Bleeding Love, American Boy, and Won't Stop, and they have sound bites from all three artists saying so, so I'm going to pester them and hope they'll help out with promoting ITL. I'm gonna tell them that Star 102.5 in Buffalo is playing it and hope they jump on it so they don't miss out being th first Canadian station.

i'm going to try and get Kiss FM up here in Ottawa.. I doubt Hot 89.9 will play it but i will get the adult station as well.. I hope they actually air Delta on tv and not just on the internet.. We are getting the cd though .. lol..
