Gossip Girl is Kristen Bell, but we dont actually get to see her....

I've seen most of the pilot on YouTube and it is addictive viewing. It is regarded as one of the best new shows this year and there are a lot of new shows this year! Blake Lively and Leighton Meester do an amazing job as Serena and Blair respectively and Kristen Bell has the right amount of sexiness, snark and knowing for Gossip Girl.

^^ No, it's going to be shown on Channel 9 early next year.

Channel 9 have sold their rights to Foxtel so it doesn't look like it'll be shown on free to air unless they get the rights again

I'd rather it be on Channel 9 since I don't have Foxtel but I see your point. I'd personally rather it on Channel 10 they always know what to do with these shows since they fit their demographic

but for some reason channel 9 dont know how to handle shows for the teen demographic, ala The OC... after 3 episodes they just stopped it and luckily channel 10 took over.

I know... I guess 'cause Channel 9 has a stake in Foxtel they want to just put it there so people will buy Foxtel um it's a lil expensive otherwise I would 'cause there's a lot of shows they're showing that I wanna watch

a lot of people say it is the complete opposite of the books though. if you're a stickler for movies/tv shows being exactly like the book then here's your warning.

i didnt like that books that much... the actual story of it was great but i didnt like how it was written all that much !

Just to let you guys now Gossip Girl will be played on Foxtel this year and sometime next year Channel Nine WILL play it but by the time next year comes it'll be old you may as well say.

Weird. I thought Channel 9 gave up on it. Channel 9 really should play it during Summer since it won't be given much of a chance during the ratings period

I hope some free-to-air channel does play it, although I don't trust 9 all that much.

However if people keep uploading it to youtube as they are I will be happy. Watched the Pilot just after it was uploaded, and I watched eps 2 and 3 today. I'm loving it

I don't have much downloads each month (like 5GB) so I don't wanna have to load each on YouTube (although I don't know how much each ep in its bits is, it would be helpful for YouTube to show it!), plus it's better watching it on TV I think

Cant wait to actually SEE Handmaidens Table and Victor/Victrola (its seriously impossible to find any of them on youtube in a full episode or the full episode broken down..theres only like 2 minutes vids and a few five minutes ones [of Handmaidens Table] and...well...obviously nothing but preview for Victor Victrola)
