I tried reading the first book...and I couldn't. I feel like the show is meant for more mature people and the book is meant for high schoolers. Like I know they cuss a lot and talk about stds but it's just...not written very maturely. No offense to the writer!

The first book is ALOT like the Pilot, but after that the book and the show are so very, very different. I prefer the tv show, i read the books for a laugh. Chuck is so hilarious in them LMAO, he has a monkey called Sweetie and he takes him EVERYWHERE and hes gay, omg its so funny.
