what region are the dvds in? WILL IT WORK FOR OUR DVD PLAYERS? ARE THERE ANY EXTRAAAAAS?

The DVDs are region 1 (US).

It works on my PS2, and that's known to be region-locked (I have the slim PS2 in silver). Other DVDs that work on that same player from the US include all three seasons of Veronica Mars, just incidentally.

With some of the discs of the box set, it'll give you a list of countries that are not English-speaking. Just select Brazil, you'll get a Spanish intro with lots of fans going mental, and then it's all in English. I got mine courtesy of my godfather direct from Best Buy in Boston.

You get a few deleted scenes, a blooper reel, a couple of featurettes, two music videos from the Pierces, and - this is pretty amazing - the first book as an audiobook MP3 file, read by Christina Ricci.

yeah they should play in Aus players, if they dont you can enter this code for you specific dvd player and follow the instructions to make it region free (I did that for both of my dvd players and it now plays ALL dvds from overseas )

The aussie dollar is really strong atm so the price is best as it's been for ages to make it even more worth your while, see if there's anything else you want to buy and buy it at the same time, that will help save on postage

Not to be a smarty pants but September 1st for us is actually August 31st for them (US) I should have a slight clue to time differences as I have four or so friends who live over there and I celebrate New Years twice now since I met them!

what? didn't your dvds work without the coding? Idk.. well mine worked fine in my dvd before I did the coding(the ones I mentioned). it does work with some dvd player without having them de-coded. Not all need it done
