For Bella, I think most people want Emily Browning (from Aus. YAY!) or Alexis Bledel.

Hey guys. Linked to this thread via another. I've never read the books, though you haven't put me off straight away

So, what age are the books written for do you think? I am 18 this month. I'm also not big on the whole sci-fi, fantasy etc stuff. Does that mean I wouldn't like them?

I may check it out at the library...I haven't taken out a book since I was like....12

EDIT: I read on Amazon that they are similar to Malorie Blackman's Noughts & Crosses trilogy (if you take out vampires), I love those books.

the fantasy aspect isnt that prominent. it basically feels like a real-life book, and it's written in a way that makes the vampire theme seem real. in my opinion they are the most beautifully written books i've ever read. the language just melts in your mouth, and the way she writes the relationship between edward and bella is ... *trying to find right word*.... divine. And if you're eighteen you're a perfect age to read them so please do! you won't regret it! The first book twilight is my favourite New moon is sad and beautiful, and eclipse is a bit more angsty, but still amazing. so see what you think

Yeah, its not really a fatasy book at all, you don't focus on the fact that- I don't know... some of the characters are supernatural, but rather the restrains and how it affects them.

It is a beautiful love story kind of book; and addictive read, you can't describe the storyline, because if you explain what happens it has no match to what you would expect from that kind of plotline. I

t's is a beautifully written book, at 18, you would enjoy it, you would LOVE it.

I might read it eventually... but because I'm bored. lol.

BAAHHHH!!!!! I saw this book in Angus and Robertson it just caught my eye for some strange reason lol looked cool, so I tried to hire it at the library and was placed 30th in a queue and decided to just buy it. Now this is strange for me to buy a book i know nothing about just cause it caught my eye. I'm ecstatic though. Effing amazing! I keep wondering why I didn't know about it before now and how I got by before without it. I'm obssessed! Can't wait for the movie! Doesn't anyone else think Robert Pattinson IS Edward lol I don't think anyone else in the world could be more suited to the role, VERY nice surprise when i found out it was him cause i loved him in HP4. Anyway gonna go to bed now and read more Twilight

I'm up to the start of the 'Carslile' chapter... (only bought the book a week ago mind you, it hasn't left my side since)

i read on SM's site that Midnight Sun is going to be her next project after Breaking Dawn comes out!! i'm really excited to see everything in Twilight from Edward's point of view!

There is a special edition of the three books out now that has the first chapter from Midnight Sun at the end, I skimmed through today at the book store it looks awesome! (the first chapter's called First Sight, same as Twilight, so perfect)
