Hello awesome fansite operators! My publicist is sending this message for me to all the key Twilight fansites on the web. I know there are a million other little sites, but you guys are the ones who really set the tone and shape the attitude for the entire online Twilight world. I want to ask all of you a huge favor. As the release date for Breaking Dawn approaches, there is a strong possibility that something might get leaked online (if Harry Potter 7 couldn’t be kept under wraps, what are Breaking Dawn’s chances??). People who are looking to be spoiled will certainly find this information, and if they must ruin their reading experience, then I can’t do anything about it. But I’m so anxious for the people who don’t want to be spoiled. I would appreciate it hugely if you would, beginning on July 14th at 9:00 p.m. EST, shut down your message boards and your front page comments until Breaking Dawn is released on August 2nd. I’m going to do what little I can with my own myspace page, but I know that most Twilighters come to your sites for information. The Lexicon has done this for me in the past, and it was a great help in keeping the experience unspoiled for readers who want it that way.
