I was actually thinking of going to Forks later this week, just to have a look around..... I didn't even know that SMeyer Day existed - and would definitely not pick that day to visit; bleh. Would be interesting to see if any of the stuff they're selling is still available though.... I've got a couple friends with birthdays coming up.....

How far away are you from Forks?

well mapquest puts me 3 hours east.... but that's if i take a ferry, so it depends on how long the wait is. I'm.... about 20 minutes from Seattle, if that means anything to you as someone who's read the Twilight books.

"A" is me, "B" is Forks. And the red dot on the left side of the map is La Push - with a yellow line leading there from Forks.

the blue, purple, green, and pink lines are four different routes I could take to get there, depending on how many bridges/ferries I wanna take.

*edit* changed the picture to add another route I could drive, and to make La Push more visible as half the name is cut off

The street that connects to the street my grandma lives on is called Carlisle Ave or something like that and I only noticed a few weeks ago, and so now I get excited when I go past it, I'm like "Look! Carlisle avenue!!"
