Well, its raining once again here in Forks Kirkland, so I'm inside mucking around online. May go to Borders in a bit and have a look around... we'll see. Yesterday I was out with some friends, and one of them has a baby daughter (about 9 1/2 months old) - so when Belle (the daughter) was being fussy, I played Bella's Lullaby for her off my mobile and she calmed right down - was playing with my mobile, shaking it in the air... I even caught her humming along with it for a couple bars once! was VERY cute. Just thought I'd share that with you guys.

Ooh I never noticed this thread before! My little sister's been obsessed with these books for ages and two weeks ago she told me to start reading them, so what the hell, I started reading
I've read Twilight twice and I'm on my third read so far, and it's amazing! I'll be reading New Moon when my sister's finished reading that, is it as good as the first?

I'll say yes and leave it at that. There are some sad parts, some frustrating parts, and plenty that had me laughing.

I didn't enjoy New Moon.. I liked Eclipse better and the last book Breaking Dawn well just read for yourself.

my friend said that new moon is really sad, and that maybe i shouldn't read it as if

^ I liked Eclipse better than New Moon myself, but I still liked NM well enough to be rushing back to Borders the next day to *find* Eclipse so I could read it once they opened. Eclipse was the one that convinced me to actually *purchase* the books though - I hadn't prior to that, just sat in one of their comfy chairs and read the first two in-store. New Moon starts off sad, and the last bit had me more frustrated than anything, and the middle is rather... well, it can be fun in places as long as you are willing to accept a lack of Edward for a few chapters. I'd say read it - if for no other reason than then you'll know what we're talking about with certain references.

No!! Don't skip New Moon, you have to read it. Its sad and a bit depressing. But I love some moments between Bella and Jacob. Really, read it. Then read Eclipse and if your smart don't even bother with Breaking Dawn.
