Rowan Atkinson Joins 'David Copperfield'
Rowan Atkinson is to star in a new movie version of David Copperfield.

He will play Mr Micawber, one of Charles -ens' best-known comic characters.

Director Peter Howitt is planning to shoot the film early next year,

Howitt previously made Johnny English with Mr Bean star Atkinson.

Micawber was played by WC Fields in the 1935 version which was the last time the novel was adapted for the cinema.
