Why did they get a new actress to play Ruby anyway? She suited the role so well!

I finally watched it! & omgggg.. i cannot wait for the rest of this season! Now for some spoiler stuff..
Castiel says his good and all.. but then why did the demon say that the end was coming for them all? Hmm.. Unless she meant the end for everything evil?

& Sams powers have progressed so much! .. When Castiel first walked into the barn/place thing, I almost thought that he was just another person like Sam, but whose powers had reached their top capability. Ahh I can't wait to see how all this unfolds!

I really loved this ep! I miss the old Ruby I can't wait till next weeks ep!

You know Lillith was supposedly the worst bad we could possibly imagine, and then we get someone else above the cosmic foodchain. I'm sick of them trying to outdo themselves, and just want them to go back to the basics - two brothers hunting evil.

Yea but that will be the theme behind this season, they will still be 2 brothers hunting evil but they will be figuring out that situation at the same time..

The same thing happened with the past seasons, there was always a storyline to go with the season. Season 1 - finding their dad, season 2 - dealing with sams powers & finding the yellow eyed demon, season 3 - finding a way to save deans soul. So theres always something thats been going on, like a kind of background story. It won't be any different to what happened before.

I love the direction the show is going

The angel - Castiel only did that because he CANT show his true form to humans, thats why Pamela's eyes were burned out, and only showed Dean a SHADOW of his wings.. if he showed his true forum to Dean HE WOULD HAVE DIED!!!! and Dean also couldn't hear when he was speaking..you know that high pitched sound. I don't think we have anything to worry about with Castiel.

The direction the show has ALWAYS, ALWAYS been about good vs evil - even in the first season.. and thats how its going to keep going. and if theres bad in the world why isnt there good? such as angels etc? its a balance. and the show needs to keep growing.

I think its going to to be like a massive Dean vs Sam type thing...

the show will also ALWAYS be about the two boys fighting evil, its just you CANNOT expect them to do that all the damn time. the characters and everyone GROWS. Its only natural. and to be quite honest if it was just the boys fighting evil like in season 1 I would be so bored.

I for one am glad where the show is headed this season and I cant wait to see more of it.

oh and I would also gonna add to that about Castiel, I think hes an angel we have nothing to worry about there BUT at the same time.. i'm still a bit wary of him. Just as I am about Ruby - i never fully 100% trusted her and her intentions. The same can be said about Castiel

^ I agree with that too. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out. I agree with the Ruby thing too.. Theres got to be a reason that she's helping them so much.. I don't think she's doing it for the good of it.. I dunno if she might get something out of this in the end? But hmm it will be interesting to see how this season plays out. I'm loving it so far!

I totally agree that we are going to end up with a Sam versus Dean deal in this season. Dean has done everything to protect Sam so it will be fascinating to see where they go with that. What would Dean be willing to do if Sam slips completely?!

I really like that they are going with this version of angels. They actually more frightening than the demons! Even the demons are scared! They are going down a dark route with it and that works for me as Supernatural has always been dark.

I think if the quality of the first episode lasts to the end of Season 4 we are going to get out best season finale yet!

I think this season may be preparing for the big battle, if Sn is going to be 5 seasons as the producers say it is, then this season should be about preparing for the big battle in season 5, and seeing how the boys deal with it and react with it.

I didn't know they were ending it at five seasons.

I will be sad whenit ends but I'm glad they aren't planning to drag the series out until it gets stale.

I think they will spend this season just setting up a big good versus evil battle for season five too.

That has made me even more excited for this season.

Same, I'd rather have 5 seasons if fantastic quality than dragging it to 8 or 9 and the show goes downhill.

I know, I really like this season so far, and its looking good. I hope they bring back some old characters who we haven't seen in ages, is bobby the only character the boys go to for help. At least Ruby is still here, but shes not really human.

Okay, firstly best episode title ever!

When you do read it all I can say they like there dark and violent deaths on this season. Yikes!

They are bringing more angels in? An archangel at that! That is really interesting.

I know I liked where they are going with this season, and this season is a full season, so they can have a full season, the previous season didn't get to do that.

Catching up on news- Eric Kripke signed a deal at the end of June with Warner Brothers guaranteeing a 5th season of Supernatural to wrap up the series. Kripke has always said the series in his mind would cover 5 seasons. The exciting news is that the deal is open for sequels and spin offs!

"Supernatural" exec producer Eric Kripke is scaring up an overall deal at Warner Bros. TV.

Under terms of the two-year exclusive pact, Kripke will continue to exec produce and showrun CW's Thursday staple "Supernatural," which enters its fourth season this fall.

Kripke also will start to develop projects under the deal. There's no word if one of the new titles might be a "Supernatural" spinoff; Kripke has said in the past that he's interested in doing a prequel of sorts that takes place in the Old West and centered on the show's mythology.

Kripke's at work crafting the show's fourth season, following up on the season three cliffhanger that sent Dean (Jensen Ackles) to hell.

Beyond creating "Supernatural," Kripke's credits include adapting "Tarzan" for the WB, as well as the feature "The Boogeyman."

Before making a splash in TV, Kripke was known for his short films, which included Sundance entry "Battle of the Sexes," as well as "Truly Committed," which won the audience award at Slamdance.

well as for Atlantis... it is just at its peak after falling in season 3-4 but season 5 of Atlantis is AMAZING

The CW season premiere of Smallville led off with 4.383 million viewers and a 1.8/6 in both demo categories. It was down around 14% versus last year’s season premiere (9/27/07) of 5.08 million viewers, but only down about 5% among 18-49 year olds where last year it had a 1.9.
The drop in viewers for Smallville was offset somewhat by the gain in viewers for the premiere of one of my favorite shows, Supernatural which averaged 3.956 million viewer from 9p-10p and a 1.7/5 among 18-49 year olds. Last year’s season premiere on 10/4/07 had of 2.97 million viewers and an 18-49 rating of 1.2, so the gains in viewers are ~33% versus last year and ~42% among 18-49 year olds. Way to go Supernatural!

stargate gets over 2.2million viewers in america.... but alot of people around the world downlaod it so they can see it:D so id say an easy 3million people see it each week
