how come neighbours is full of singers

^ Because the actors from Neighbours are much more talented than the ones on H&A, imo. Haha. I think the actors from H&A are just average, whereas the ones from Neighbours are much more, I can't really think of a word to describe them, but they're like, more well-adapted. Lol, kinda hard to explain but yeah. They suit the particle style/genre of the show better than the actors from H&A, confused yet? lol.

Ohh. That explains it.

Its been confirmed that Kyal Marsh (Boyd), Stephanie McIntosh (Sky), Nell Feeney (Janelle), Sianoa Smit-McPhee (Bree) and Adelaide Kane (Lolly) are leaving the show. But we'll continue to see their characters until the middle of the year. Also a new family will be introduced later in 2007 to replace them.

Did anyone see the passionate kiss between Paul and Pepper? It was a lot more passionate than I first thought. She full on had her arm/s around his neck and he was all over her before she even finished saying "bring it on". Haha, I'm just rambling on about that passionate kiss, lmao.

Then Ringo was perving on his teacher/roomate at school. Lol, then like at the second last scene of the ep, how Ringo and Frazer were talking about the train how its "perfect" and "she's beautiful" and Pepper thought they were talking about something else. Lol, ahh Pepper's such a classic, there's no mistaking that. *rolls her eyes* Haha.

Oh and that ^^ article (the one with Dylan and Camella together and Lolly has a bruise) Camella actually 'sleeps' with Dylan, but they actually didn't do anything, Ned gets them both quite drunk and Camella wonders off to her bed drunk whilst Dylan passes out somewhere then Ned carries him into Camella's room and unbuttons his shirt.

And Lolly is getting abused by her step-mother, Pepper tells Lolly that she can confide in her, but then Lolly proclaims its Pepper who has been absuing her, and before Pepper knows it she gets suspended.

Didn't Adelaide win the Neighbours casting competition last year? Her stay is so short she must have only a contract of one year or less

^ Yeah she won the DOLLY competition last year along with Sam. The winners' contracts for only for 3 months, with an extention, if they were good enough, of 3 years maximum. I'm guessing Sam's contract has been extended for another year.

I also found out a bit more on how Stingray dies and a couple more spoilers. My friend told me these (along with about half of the spoilers I posted last year), so she's pretty reliable
Firstly, Stingray dies of cancer (as I said before) because he was giving bone marrow to Kerry, apparently Kerry has leukemia. Anyway Dylan leaves because he feels guilty of what happened bewteen himself and Stinger (the whole 'who was the father of Kerry' thing) so he leaves. And Sky leaves because she doesn't want to be dependent on Harold.

Secondly, Ned falls for Janae! That's almost illegal. Almost. She's 17 and he's like mid-20's?? Something like that. There's also another spoiler but I've forgotten, because we were in legal lol, and we were working, haha lame excuse I know. But yeah.

I'm going to Ballarat tomorrow morning. And there's only one tv at the entire university (we're going to Ballarat Uni) to my knowledge, bit stupid if you ask me. I should be back Friday night hopefully.

Aussie soap stalwart Neighbours has recruited a British star as part of several dramatic cast changes to breathe new life into the show.
English model Benjamin Hart, who was a star of popular UK soap Hollyoaks, will join the cast in the next month.
Neighbours insiders told the Herald Sun signing Hart would be huge for the show in Britain, where it is still popular.

Lol, I think that's true. I perfer Steph stick to acting career rather than her music career. But that's just me, as I've probably said before, I think Steph's acting abilities are much better than her singing career, some people might disagree with me there. But I'm not saying Steph can't sing because she can, I just think that she has a better chance of furthering her acting career than her music career.

Can someone please explain to me what happened in Wednesday and Thursday's eps? I missed it, we were eating dinner in the dining room (in Ballarat Uni) and I saw at least 2 tv's, so I asked my level co-ordinator if we could watch Neighbours whilst we ate (we ate dinner at 6 right through to 7pm on Wednesday night. Then we started dinner at 6.30 to 7.30pm on Thursday night) but she said no. So I missed both eps, and someone messed with the VCR on Wednesday night so it taped Today Tonight on channel seven instead.

I was so angry and frustrated yesterday since I didn't understand at least 3/4 of the stuff that was on last night. I was thinking "Wtf? I don't even watch channel seven that much. Who the hell changed the channel?". So annoying. So if anyone could please explain to me what happened in both Wednesday and Thursday's eps it'd be greatly appreciated.

^ I don't know, maybe once they've found her they take her to the hospital to have some tests done and a checkup to see if she's alright (since Hazza's car gets stolen) and they discover Kerry's got leukemia. That's just my theory anyway.

Yeah Sky's leaving (as I revealed the spoiler before). Stephanie McIntosh's Neigbours' contract expires in April this year, she's going to concentrate on her music career.

I bought TV Week this morning before I went to school, as usual. There are only 3 articles. A small one about Glenn, Boyd, Elle and Janae. And another small one about Ned robbing the Timmins' house, Elle, Camella, Dylan, etc (the country getaway that we're going to see sometime this week). And a big article about the love quadrangle (yes! I said love Quadrangle) between Frazer, Rosie, Paul and Pepper.

^ Hoping I'll have more spoilers tomorrow from TV Week but I probably won't be able to post them until Tuesday night or something, because I have an English SAC first thing tomorrow morning (8am sharp, period 0) which I should actually be studying for right now...

Melbourne weather has been a bit out of whack (than usual) the last few days, been hot, and when the weather man/woman says its meant to rain it doesn't, and when they say its going to be really hot (which practically always is) it drizzled a bit.

Alright spoilers for next week (Feb 24th-2nd March, 2007) in TV Week. Like I revealed before Kerry gets diagnosaed next week, coz she's sick and the doctors at the hospital run some other tests. Sky is very upset and emotional so she goes and visits her mother's grave and whilst there she gets a premonition which says "In loving memory of...TIMMINS". Obviously she thinks its Kerry, bit selfish if you ask me, coz Kerry isn't the only Timmin in Ramsay Street, there's a whole bunch of them who are not her.

Anyway moving on, the second article (only 2 articles since the rest of the mag is bombarded with H&A articles) is about Pepper and Rosie "locking lips". And you'd never guess who witnesses the kiss! None other than....Ringo!

Oh I almost forgot, there's another small article about Janae, Boyd and Glenn. Janae slaps her, oohh. That will make great entertainment on a 6.30pm timeslot, lol. The one with a pic of Stephanie McIntosh in it is just about the scene when Kerry got diagnosed and how she felt, etc...

How funny was it when Pepper and Rosie were talking in Scarlet Bar, then Toadie came along and was scratching himself (not in a dirty sense, lol) then Rosie all of a sudden started sractching her self, then as soon as she said "You've got fleas" everyone was just running out of Scarlet Bar.

That isn't always the case, what about Steph? She was in remission then she got it again. Also in this case with Stingray giving bone marrow (I don't know if Kerry loses her life or not, but its a possibility) he does die - that's how Dylan leaves.

I reckon its good - in a sense - that it leaves Steph McIntosh to free up her character a bit until her contract finishes, I think that ever since she's been pregnant and had Kerry, Sky's taken a different direction, and now I think it'll be interesting to see what happens in her last few months in Ramsay Street without her child (possibly, though now when I think of it I think I heard from my friend that Kerry survives, can't remember though), Dylan and Stingray.

Haha, yeah they've been good, giving laughs left, right and center. The beard and everything, lol.

Pepper decides to show Rosie just how greatful she is to have her as a friend - an unsual way of showing it, but nonetheless it will make a great storyline as everyone finds out about the kiss. I know!

What ads were they?? Coz I don't remember seeing any ads with Izzy in them.
I was kinda hoping that they'd play a little promo with Pepper and Rosie about to kiss or with their heads close together just when they're about to kiss with Ringo standing behind them...if that just made sense, not in a dirty sense of course. But, you know, just to draw a few more audiences to boost the ratings a bit. But they didn't, oh well.

Anyway I bought TV Week this morning, about half an hour earlier than usual (long story, kinda boring too). As usual the mag is bombarded with H&A articles. There are only 3 articles and another interview with Natalie Saleeba (in the pervious one I revealed she kissed another female actor, who was Nicky, which we will see tomorrow night).

The small one is about Boyd, Janae and Glenn. Janae gives Boyd a two week "amnesty" to be with whoever he wants and to work out his feelings for once and for all. The big one is about Lolly and how Sandy returns, but just as Sandy is about to hit Lolly, Lolly strikes back and pushes her into the pool, resulting Sandy hitting her head on the edge of the pool. I drew a circle and an arrow pointing to Sandy's body in the pool, as you can't really see her, I guess, coz I put the flash on when I took the pics from my phone.

The other is about Rosie, Pepper, Frazer, Ned and Elle. The flame is rekindled next week between Rose and Frazer but just when it looked like they had some hope of getting back together, they're interrupted by Pepper. Elle and Ned get back together (I seriously can't even remember that they even went out! LOL. ) but not before Elle continues to keep Oliver and Camella apart.

Q: What's been your favourite scene so far on Neighbours?

A: "When Paul fantasised about Rosie, he had all these dream sequences. In one of them, I was all dressed up like Heidi. It was one of the most bizarre things I've filmed!"

Interesting eh? I'm pretty sure when she said Heidi I think she meant Pepper, hence the name Heidi "Pepper" Steiger. I don't think we've seen Rosie as "Heidi" yet, but nonetheless it'll be pretty funny when we get to see it.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention last week, that Paul gets mugged (in the article I posted last week, all the way up there ^^) and Pepper comes to his rescue. But I think he gets robbed and bashed after Pepper and Rosie kiss, because I swear I can see lipstick on Pepper's left cheek, I don't think you can see it properly from the pic I took and posted up there ^^, but if you happen to have the mag take a closer look at Nicky's left cheek, I swear its lipstick.

Today's episode was heaps good....cracking up at how quickly the news of Pepper and Rose's kiss spread haha. How funny is Carmella when she gave Oscar that look when she found out he told Steph. I'll tell you what though, they've already done the lesbian thing, why not go for gay guys then if the whole gay thing is what they're after? Will and Fraser would have been interesting (if Will was still there lol).

I was listening to the TV segment with Herald Sun columnist Flip Shelton on 3AW's Neil Mitchell program this morning when a man phoned in to complain about the scene with Pepper and Rosie kissing. He said his three young daughters were watching Neighbours on Tuesday night when they saw two girls kissing at about 6.55pm! Mitchell said he felt the scene was inappropriate for the timeslot.

Tip for bad_angel_109: there is an interview with Natalie Blair in today's MX afternoon paper. If you miss it, make a photocopy from the State Library's newspaper section.

I think it was rather risque for the timeslot but having said that I don't care myself, but I do definately see how parents with young kids would be concerned.

Alan Dale (Jim Robinson, but now star of Ugly Betty) has told a British newspaper he hates the makers of Neighbours, saying he left feeling ripped off:

Alan Dale played Jim Robinson in Neighbours in late 1980s. A few years ago he moved to the US where he has starred in a number of shows, including The OC and 24. In Ugly Betty, he plays Bradford Meade, publisher of fashion magazine Mode. It was Bradford who recruited Betty to become assistant to the editor, which happens to be his son.

I wonder if any of the current or recent stars feel the same as he does about pay and treatment? Hhhhmmmmmm
