TV rehearsal lines up work
MELBOURNE actor and playwright Susan Ellis is a little confused if it's art that imitates life, or vice versa.
A while ago, she auditioned for a role in Neighbours as a talent agent specialising in managing children.
She missed out on the acting gig, but a couple of weeks later got a real job in a real child talent management agency.
Now she's just signed a contract for a spot on Neighbours as a lawyer, and they're shooting it this week.
Ellis can't help wondering if she'd knocked back the pretend lawyer's role, would she have got a real job in a legal office.
