After 4 hours driving Clare had finally arrived in the bay and the first thing that caught her eye was a police road block about 200 metres ahead stopping all cars going into the town. A sense of relief then went thought her Alex had managed to get thought to peter; there was a chance that they could get them before they could hurt the people of the bay.
When Clare had received the letter the first thing that went thought her mind was that it was some kind of evil sick joke, but then she released that there was a thing mentioned in the letter that only 3 people know about, a thing that told Clare who had sent the letter because aside from herself the only other people that now that Zoë had set fire to Clare’s house with her inside a few days after she had cut the brakes on Clare’s car was peter and Zoë and she now that peter had not told anyone so that left Zoë.
Clare had no idea how she had did it but Zoë had some how managed to get out of the warehouse before it blow up and if Zoë’s letter was to be believed than Sarah was also alive, peter had been right all along.
After about 15 minutes Clare had made it to the top of the line of cars and after a number of questions and peter telling them who she was Clare was allowed to go on. Clare then spent the next 30 minutes filling Peter in on the letter that she had received and going over how they were going to stop eve and Sarah from hurting any more people.
On reaching the station Clare and peter were met by ken and jack who were filled in on everything and were shown the letter which read like this,
Hi Detective Clare brody miss me! Ya it’s really me I got out of the fire alive but then you managed to get out of that little fire that I set for you so …… anyway tell everyone in the bay we said hi and that we’re coming to se them. Oh and tell peter that his little theory about Sarah was right she is alive and we’re coming to get him.
Eve and Sarah
4 hours later and they were still no further along on finding any more information on where Sarah and eve were and they were getting more and more disheartened as time went on because the longer they took the closer Sarah and eve were to hurting the people of the bay.
Then jack (who was new to the bay since Clare’s time) said aloud the thing they were all thinking, which was that there was no way of knowing who Sarah and eve would go after so they would no protect the community. A fact which was starting to get to them all.
Clare then came up with an idea of finding out who might be in danger but I was peter who was going to have to do it because he was the only one of the four of them that was in the bay when Sarah attacked.
Clare’s idea was this draw up a list of everyone who was attacked by both women and any people who came up on both lists were at a greater risk than the rest of the people.

After being back in the bay for 24 hours Clare and the rest of the group has so far found out the following information about Sarah and eve.
The reason that Sarah and eve had not been seen back in the bay before now was because they both were recovering from injuries that they had received in the bay.
That Sarah had been taken to a mental hospital in Perth in secret after she had killed Noah from which she had managed to escape 3 months ago. (No one connected to the bay had known about this.
That while working at the hospital eve had been changing information on a number of different documents. Although at this point they were unsure hoe many had been changed so Clare had gotten some friends in the city to look into this.
After working in over drive for the last 24 hours Clare was finally persuaded to take a brake and only then all she would agree to was to go with jack to get food for everyone. (Although everyone was finding the last day hard in a way it was hardest on Clare because from the moment she had received eve’s letter all she could think about was that there was a chance that she could lose peter for ever.
At the diner
By the time Clare and jack had arrived a the diner they had both agreed that it would be best if jack ordered the food as people would be less supposes of him ordering so much food. (They were getting food for 10 people)
As for Clare she know that her friends would make a lot of her arrival back in the bay and as at the moment they did not want anyone to know that Sarah and eve were alive and could be coming to the bay if they weren’t here already. So while jack was waiting for their orders Clare caught up with Leah, Dan, colleen and the other who filled her in on everything that was happening in the bay. (Who thought that she had only just arrived back in the bay).
On the drive back to the station Clare spent the whole time in silence thinking about the people of the bay. While she had been talking to people in the diner she had released just how much they had to protect they could not let Sarah and eve hurt them again.
Back at the station
Peter and ken had for the last 10 minutes, ever since Clare and jack had left, going over everything that they now about both women to see if they could find any little detail that could help them. When all of a sudden there was a knock on the office door and Lana came in saying that a letter had arrived from peter and after handing the letter to peter she left the room, which left only ken to hear the letter that peter read aloud.
Detective barker by now you should know we’re back or if you don’t maybe that little - doesn’t love you as much as you think she does, we gave her enough time to get back to the bay so now we’re coming and there’s nothing you can do. No one’s safe.
Peter and ken were still looking over the letter when Clare and jack arrived back with the food and on reading the letter Clare pointed out one thing in the new letter that really scared her. How did eve know that Pete and Clare were together, they had only got together after she had disappeared. So that could only mean one thing, someone in the bay had told her after she had left which meant they were now after 3 people who could be anywhere, one of whom could be anyone in the bay.
As they were going over the information a report came through, a report that they had been dreading coming. It said that a man and woman had been seriously hurt in a road car accident and that the brakes had been cut. They were Sarah and eve’s first victims.
On arriving at the hospital Clare and peter were in for the biggest shock of their lives, although they had been prepared for the fact that they could now the people they were about to see, they had not been expecting it to be Leah and Dan that had been hurt.
Flynn had met them at the front and filled them in on how bad both Leah and Dan were hurt and what exactly the treatment was that they needed. Leah had been taken straight to the operation theatre as she had internal injuries as well as a number of broken bones including a number of broken ribs (she had been driving). And Dan had a broken arm and leg as well as some head injuries. At the moment Dan was down at x-ray although he would arrive back at any moment.
On asking when exactly they could see and talk to him (although they needed to find out what had happened they also wanted to make sure that he was ok) they were told that although he had come out of the accident with the lesser of the injuries he had not regained consensus since the accident so therefore they could not determine just what brain injuries if any he had received and would not know until or even if he woke up
After spending a few hours sitting by Dan’s bed with peter, Clare went back to the station to find out any information that jack and ken might have found since she had last spoken to them. Although she had wanted to be therefore peter they both know that they were also needed to help find Sarah and eve so they had come up with a plan, that while one of them was at the station working the other would sit with Leah and Dan (when she returned from the operation theatre she was to be put in the same room as Dan).
At the station jack and ken, who had been caring on the investigation, filled Clare in on the following information which on hearing raised Clare’s hopes just a little, although they did not know exactly where they were, they were at least one step closer to finding Sarah and eve.
• That while they were in the city they had been using the following names aliana st Clare, charlotte Stevens, addy Beaumont and georgie Newman. (these were just some of the names they had used they were looking for others as well as looking to see if any of these names had done anything that could give them a clue to finding the 2 women).
• That eve had rented a car in the city 3 days ago which they were at the moment looking for.
• They had found a number of people whose documents had been changed by eve although at the moment no one on their lists had been affected although they were still looking.
Clare had been at the station for a few hours when another letter arrived from Sarah and eve. It was addressed to peter but because they know who it was from Clare opened it and read it to jack (ken was out following a Lead he had received).
So much people, so little time, who should we go after now that we’ve got Leah and Dan, you now something people should be careful about getting close to you both it can be really dangerous. You can’t even protect the people closest to you so how do you expect to protect anyone else.
Jack and Clare looked at each other in shock the only reason that eve and Sarah had gone after Dan and Leah was because of how close they were to Clare and peter. Clare didn’t now what to do should she tell peter about it, he was still blaming himself for what had happened the last time Sarah and eve had been in the bay and she now that he also blamed himself for letting them get away before (even thought he along with everyone else thought they were dead) and now they were back. Although she did not want to hurt him any more she know what she had to do, she had to tell him. but something at the hospital was going to force her to keep quit at least for a little while until she could get peter alone because when she arrived she found that peter was not alone his parents had arrived and it only took her 5 seconds after arriving in Dan’s room to release something was not right they were all sitting in silence they weren’t even looking at each other
Clare and peter had spent the whole drive back to the station talking about the last letter they had received from Sarah and eve. On hearing the news peter had reacted exactly in the way Clare had expected, he was even more determent to find the 2 woman then he ever was before (if that was possible). Clare and peter had never been so happy to leave the hospital then they were today although they had wanted to be there if Leah and Dan needed them, there were 2 big reasons they couldn’t stay. (No it was not Sarah and eve) the two reasons were the baker and Poulos families (they had arrived just after Clare had). After spending time in that room both Clare and peter came to the conclusion that they would rather be in a room with any criminal that in that room with those two families. The atmosphere was so thick you could cut it with a knife. In the end up Clare and peter said they had an emergency at work 9well they weren’t really lying were they).
Clare and peter were met at the station by ken and jack who told them that they had some good as well as some bad news for them. The good new was that they had found the place where Sarah and eve had been staying while they had been in the city and a team was checking it as they spoke and as for the bad news a man and woman had been attacked outside the surf club and had been taken to the hospital.
As Clare had some leads to follow up on, peter took jack to the hospital to get statements from the people who were attacked and to see if they now anything that could help the cops to find Sarah and eve. On arriving at the hospital peter and jack were greeted with the news that the people that had been attacked were hayley and Scott. Although they had not been as badly hurt as everyone first thought Flynn wanted to keep them both in over night just to be safe. Apparently hayley and Scott were hit on the back of the head before being beaten up and although she had been a bit groggy and her eyes were a bit out of focus she was curtain that they had been attacked by three women all of them were around the same height as she was and they all had dark hair and also although she could not make out their faces she was almost curtain that she now all three. Scott had been knocked out and therefore did not see anything.
An the drive back to the station peter and jack were felling happier then they had since they first found out that Sarah and eve were back and when Clare and ken heard the news they to were happy as they now know at least the gender of the third person as well as some other things about them
Three days after the attack on hayley and Scott and things had pretty much come to a standstill they had not got anymore letters from Sarah and eve and no one else had been attacked and they also hand no leads to go on. Although a lot of people might have expected them to be happy about this they weren’t. For peter, Clare, jack and ken every moment was worse at least when they were sending letters or even attacking people the cops know what they were doing. At the moment Clare, peter, jack and ken were imaging worse and worse things that eve and Sarah could be planning to do and it was driving them mad.
Then at 3am they finally found out what they had been planning a fire was stating to engulf the diner and the flat above
On arriving at the dinner the 4 cops found that almost the whole bay had made it there before them. On getting out of the car they were greeted by a scene of total destruction. The fire had taken most of the building and what was not on fire was filled with smoke. Peter, jack, ken and Clare all joined the crowd to help in any way they could.
For the next number of minutes they tried everything they could to control the fire then all of a sudden a window from the flat above the dinner opened and Martha started to scream for help (Alf and Morag were also trapped inside).
Scott, Flynn 2 SES boys as well as peter all said they would go in to get them (thought Clare had not wanted peter to go in as she was afraid of losing him). The 5 men were in about 5 minutes when the fount door opened and a group of people came out but not everyone was there peter and Martha was still trapped inside. They had lost peter in all the smoke.
As the group were about to go back in to get them there was an almighty crash and the roof fell through. There was no sound of a second then a scream went up calling for peter. It was Clare who Flynn had had to grab to stop her from going into the fire after peter.
The rest of the crowd was in shock were they dead had peter and Martha been killed when the roof collapsed
Clare had been sitting on the beach for about half an hour thinking about everything that had happened since she had first met peter 10 years ago when sally and Irene sat down beside her and for the next while they just sat there watching the sun come up and then Clare started talking about everything that she had been thinking about before, the day they had met for the first time (their first day at the accdamy0, their first date, why they had broke up , why they had got back together and also the day that Pete had proposed as well as some of the plans they had made so far for their wedding
Then all of a sudden a loud cheer went up from the dinner and tasha, Robbie, maddie and cassie all came running towards them shouting but it was only when they got close that they released what they were saying, which was
They found them, they found the, they found them, their alive they found them.
On hearing this all three woman got up and started running towards the diner to see if it was true. By some miracle had peter and Martha managed to survive a fire as well as a building falling on top of them
When they arrived at the diner Flynn told them that it was true they had been found and although they were still trapped they seemed not to have any life threaten injuries.
For the nest hour they worked on getting both Martha and peter released and on their way to the hospital because although at the moment they did not seem to be badly hurt they needed to get to the hospital to be checked over properly.
Peter was the first person to be pulled out of the rubble and was taken to the hospital at once (Clare went in the ambulance with him) were he was checked for everything from spinal injuries to internal injuries to head injuries. He (along with Martha) was given every test just to make sure they were really ok.
It was only after the results had come back (results that had given them the all clear) that peter and Clare were finally alone. Up to now Clare had been sitting on a chair beside Pete’s bed but as soon as the last nurse had left the room Clare got up on the bed with peter and into his arms. For the next hour they lay there and just talked before they fell asleep a sleep they did not wake from until jack came by 5 hours later with a latter they had received from Sarah and eve the letter read like this.
Well well well playing the hero again were we peter. Who would have thought it we were not even going after you and we almost killed you. Good job you made it out all though as we have a big finish and trust us you will not want to miss it.
Well we’ll see you soon but in the mean time give our love to Dan, Leah, Scott, hayley, Morag, Alf and Martha.
After reading this letter peter was ready to leave the hospital and go to the station to help but Clare managed to make him stay as she know Flynn wanted to keep them both in for a few days just to make sure they really were ok and also Clare was not ready to let him risk his life again as she had almost lost him once and was not going to let happen again anytime soon.
On arriving back at the station Clare was greeted by some great news ken and some of the other cops had managed to find the place where Sarah and eve had been staying since they had come to the bay. It was an abandon house about 5 miles from where they were at the moment (the station)
Half way there Clare got a phone call from a friend of hers from the city who had been looking into Sarah and eve and everything they had been doing while they had been in the city and in Sarah’s case while she had been in Perth.
Alex gave Clare some great news they now how Sarah had managed to get out of the Perth clinic. Two woman , one of whom was eve the other had dark shoulder length hair, slim build and she looked to be in her late 20’s early 30’s and see seemed to the a friendly kind of person.
They now had an even greater description of this third woman .
At the house they were greeted by the news that although nearly everything had been removed they had managed to get a lucky brake and had found some DNA and also a number of finger prints that had been sent to trace at once.
After spending some time at the house Clare went back to the hospital to fill peter in on what they had found out at the house as well as what Alex had told her. Peter was externally happy to hear this, they were now only a few steps away from getting Sarah and eve and their mystery friend. They were going to be able to get them before they hurt anyone else or so they thought because unknown to the cops eve and Sarah was taking their next set of victims.
And the start of their plans began.
Sally and Flynn had now been missing for 5 hours and the whole town was getting more and more scared by the second and in the end up Clare now they had to do the one thing they had never wanted to do, they had to call a meeting so they could tell everyone the truth about Sarah and eve. The results of the tests had not come back yet and although they did not want to call a meeting there was not other choose there was no other way to make sure everyone got the whole and right information.
So for the next hour Clare, jack, ken and a number of other cops went around telling everyone about the meeting at the surf club. Then while jack and ken went to the surf club Clare headed back to the station because of a call she had received saying that the report was going to be sent to the station and that they had found a match for the third set of prints.
On arriving at the station Clare found out that everything was in darkness expect for her and Pete’s office and so she went there calling out for Lara who had called her and that was when it happened someone came up behind her and before she could do anything she was hit at the back of the head and everything went black.
Back at the surf club jack was starting to get worried about Clare as the meeting was about to start (everyone was there) and there was no sign of her plus he could not get her on the phone so he decided to head back to the station to see if he could find he leaving ken in charge.
As he left the surf club (unknown to him) he was being watched by two women (eve and Sarah). When he got there he saw that Clare’s car had been abandon and he know that something was wrong and knowing that Sarah and eve might be there he got his gun out and went looking for her. After 5 minutes he found her bound and gagged although a wake in a back office.
When he got her untied he finial found out who the third woman was and he could not believe it how could she it be her they saw her everyday, she had even helped them look for Sarah and eve, why would she help them.
That was when Clare told him that she (the third woman) was in love with peter and all this had been her way of getting back at him for choosing Clare over her.
Just then the phone rang and it was them (all three of them) telling her that it was time to chose who was she going to save peter or the whole town. As they had set bombs at both the surf club and a rundown house were they had left peter and she had to chose one as both bombs were set to go off at the same time and there was not enough time to get to both. (they did not release jack was there as they had tampered with his car).
They each decided to take a building and they would them be able to save everyone but on the way to the surf club some thing happened, jack lost control of his car and hit a tree head on but not even that would stop him he got out of the car and ran the rest of the way there even thought he had a large cut on his head.
Meanwhile at the other sise of town clare had made it to the house where peter was and searched everywere before finding the bomb hidden in a box by the door (if the door is opened the bomb will go of) when she opened it she found a number of wires and she them phoned jack to make sure he had found the other bomn as they both needed to cut the wires at the same time because the second one bomb is disarmed the other will explode.
Once jack had found the bomb and opened to they both decided they would cut them on the count of 3

It was two hours later and the town now know all about Sarah and eve. At the caravan park the hunters, jack, Lucas, Tony, Irene, sally, Flynn, cassie, tasha, ric as well as Peter and Clare were all talking about Sarah and eve when all of a sudden Sarah and eve and Lara were all standing at the door with guns saying who should they shut first when all of a sudden there was a number of shots and everyone dropped to the ground but when they looked up they released it was Sarah, eve and Lara who had been hit. The shots had come from ken and a few other cops who had seen them come in.
Btw they really were dead Clare and peter checked.
It was the morning after the night before and peter and Clare were the only 2 people on the beach. They were just sitting on the sand wrapped in each others arms thinking about everything that had happened and what not only they could have lost but the whole town.
Clare then turned around to peter and asked him why they were waiting she did not want to get married in the city any more; she wanted to get married here on the beach with all their friends. Peter then asked was she sure he now how much she wanted to get married in the same place as her parents and grandparents but she said not anymore she was starting to love this place as much as he was.
