on April 22, so it will most likely start the next night.

I heard a rumour that there's gonna be a prgnant woman in the house, with a special room where she gives birth. It happened in some European BB house last year. I think it was a Dutch BB.

I can't wait to watch it. last year was really good.

With BB starting on a Saturday, I think Ten is doing a repeat of last year's opening day, with Gretel interviewing housemates one by one, before they are led separately into the BB house. This again will be edited and shown on Sunday, April 23.
I also hear that The Biggest Loser will have its finale on April 23 or 24. How will Ten juggle its schedule given it will show the AFL match between Port Adelaide and St Kilda on April 24 (it starts at 7.40pm AEST)? We will have to wait and see.

BB's early eviction

BIG BROTHER has started evictions early this year – booting a wannabe housemate off the show before the first episode has aired.
BB had a final 40 group of potential housemates from which it picked its top 14 contestants.
It gave one of the 40 the flick last week after discovering it had been given "information about themselves that was not factual".
As part of the final audition process, BB spoke to the friends and family of the final 40 to gain a clearer idea of their personalities and backgrounds.
During these interviews, BB found not everything added up about one of them. BB will begin on Channel 10 on April 23.
The top 14 housemates have been selected. Their identities remain secret. Five are Victorians.

Someone posted at a blog at the Sydney Morning Herald website that BB will start at 7.30pm on Sunday, April 23, with a 2-hour launch special (when housemates enter the house the night before). It will be preceded at 6.30pm with an one-hour The Biggest Loser special. TBL itself will have its finale on Thursday, April 27, at 7.30pm.
The BB daily show will start on Monday, April 24 at 7pm, followed by the AFL match between Port Adelaide and St Kilda at 7.30pm for Ten stations outside NSW, ACT and Queensland.

Next week's TV schedule has been released and there are interesting programming moves by Channel Ten.
Monday, April 24 (note: program changes below)
In Victoria, SA and WA, BB daily show (1 hour special) will begin at 6.30pm, followed by the AFL match between Port Adelaide and St Kilda at 7.30pm, late news at 10.30pm, and BB up-late at 11.05pm.
In NSW, ACT, Queensland and Tasmania (through digital channel TDT), BB daily show will be shown at 7pm, followed by Bondi Rescue at 8pm, the premiere of The Italian Job movie at 8.30pm, late news at 10.45pm, replay of Port Adelaide v St Kilda at 11.20pm and delayed telecast of BB up-late at 1.50am (Tuesday).

Friday, April 28
The riskiest move may be showing BB up-late on Friday primetime up against AFL and NRL coverage on Channel Nine.
BB Friday Night Live returns at 7.30pm, followed by Skating With Celebrities (US program) at 9.15pm, and BB up-late at 10.15pm, BEFORE the late news at midnight.

thanks Johnson, I guess it looks like the reward room could be back this year.

One more note: BB will be shown in NT on Imparja but not Southern Cross TV in Darwin. People in Darwin who want to follow the housemates will have to rely on the BB website (as 3G mobile services from 3 are not available in the city).

How can they have Friday Night Live and the Rewards Room if the housemates this year will know about it? The best thing about last year, was the Friday Night. They didn't know it was to be shown live. The Rewards Room was also a surprise.

I think there are two reasons:
1. to generate more revenue
2. to prevent underage people from watching BB live on the net.

Which also means that people living outside Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth won't be able to enjoy the full features of Big Brother website and live cam on their mobiles. (Channel Ten has never considered people living in rural areas when considering a telco partner for BB )
