Yeah it's UK. It used to be of Non-Celebrities which was called "Fat Club", which in my opinion was MUCH better. It was these "large" people wanting to lose weight, and there was Sargent Harvey ( ) who was tough on them to do exercise and such.
But now, there's celebrities doing it, and Anne Widdacombe (She was / is a member of Parliament I think was in the first series of the "Celeb" version, and she didn't want it to be called Celebrity Fat Club so they changed it to Fit Club just for her.

Well anyway, getting to my main point of reply... The reason I thought it was similar is because in this new Celeb edition (Umm this is the 3rd Celeb series I think) they are put into teams, and they sit on these chairs each week and they see which team (there's four in a team) weighs the less, or has lost the most.

But as they are celebrities I don't know if they win anything.
What do these people win?

they win money in the end.... and lOTS of weigth lost!! i watched FAT CLUB!!!

i like both teams but i voted for the blue team, i love the show and i love both the trainers but i chose bob

I rekon a body lift sugery should be included in the prize. I dont watch it. I dont find the thought of watch obese people run and jump and sweat appleaing.

i've always liked the red team
i haven't really watched the biggest loser before so i can't really judge, but i am getting into it
i like jillian

err..that kinda defies the purpose of the show and naturally losing their weight. people getting surgery done for weight loss etc. is never ispirational to the others.

i like fiona!...until she kept drinking custard and GAINED WEIGHT! that annoyed me. wish she would be stronger, she keeps giving up in the gym and always replies with 'can't do it, i can't do it'. buh she's soo pretty, esp her blue eyes!

No I mean, AFTER they loose all the weight, usually people get really loose baggy skin and still weight alot because of that. Lots of people get a body lift to remove the cess skin that just hangs.

Why does everyone like Fiona? She's like the laziest one there! She kept cheating (on food) all last week and wasn't working as hard as the others so she put on weight. She's just really pretty (aside from being obese).

Go Red Team, I love you guys Sad bout losing again. But keep spirits up high. I like Jillian's training style, but Bob is a hottie!! (very sad to hear about his mum )

I don't have a fave team yet everyone seems to like the Red Team though but I like both the teams , yep I am enjoying this years The Biggest Loser .. I also don't have a fave trainer

the biggest loser on the blue team was Harry with 5. something kg and the red team was Wal? io cant remmeber!

Yeah, Wal lost the most on Red with 6.8kg or something.

I want Tracy or Fiona of Harry to go. But I don't like Artie or Cat much either. I'd be happy for them all to go.

I want either Adro or Kristie to win the whole thing.

i didn't mind tracy before but after her immature act, i really want her to go. i mean they really should stop bickering the red team. the red team are too nice...except wal lol.

I haven't watched much of it but it seems good. I prefer Bob's way of training because sometimes when you're doing a hard thing like losing weight, you need encouragement more than being pushed.

I've also wondered if the US are getting the Aussie version of The Biggest Loser.
