Hey guys,

I'm a big fan of The OC, seems like a combination of genres which makes it special --> drama, comedy, family oriented etc...

Well, the season 2 season finale was a cliffhanger, so many questions were left for us to wonder and expect, and I suppose Ten network wont ditch season 3 for all of the aussies to watch it next year. so what do u think will happen next?

sorry to post this topic, i know, minor spoilers may be answered here, but hey, we can expect anything! after all, The OC keeps on surprising us!

I'm a huge fan too, and I can't wait for next season! Let's just hope that THE OC, doesn't end up with shows like CHARMED and ONE TREE HILL, that in my books show so be on TV, they never even had the chance!
Next season, I guess, will start out with Marissa regretting shooting Trey, but, as I haven't read any spoilers yet, I have no idea - and I guess I'd like to keep it that way! LOL!

I doubt that The OC would be ditched by network ten since it's doing pretty good compared to the impact of One Tree Hill when they showed it on TV. I like One Tree hill too but it wasn't as bold and funny.

Anyway, I'm so impatient and dying to see the pilot episode of Season 3. It's so unfair that Australia airs The OC 4 or 5 months later than in the US. It would be nice to see everyone's speculation as to how season 3 would start...

i know what happens coz i've seen episode 1 of season three already! *shh*

Good on yah! but I heard that episode 1 was kinda boring coz it focused pretty much on th investigation of the shooting, is that right? Oh wells, im sure there is more to come

well im a huge oc fan and couldnt wait till next yr.. so ive already seen the first 4 eps.. so im not gunna say mny predictions becoz it will b a huge spoiler lol! but yea the first ep is pretty much focused on the shooting investigation.. but no ep of The OC could b boring !

Season 3 is corny I reckon.

In the season three opener, we start off with senior year starting in a few days. It has been a couple of months since the shooting. Trey has been in a coma all this time leaving the D.A. impatiently waiting for his side of the story. Feeling the pressure from the community the D.A. continues to put pressure on Ryan, Marisa, Seth, Summer and others for more information. Meanwhile Julie is steaming mad because Caleb’s accountant won’t give up the goods on Caleb’s will and Kirsten is still in rehab.


Social Chair Marissa tries to plan this year’s carnival but is having much difficulty due to a little pest named Taylor. Sandy is surprised to find Kirsten has been released from rehab but instead of informing him, she has been living with another woman named Charlotte who she met in rehab. Julie and Sandy meet with the Dean and Dr. Kim to discuss Ryan and Marissa’s future at Harbor High. Later Ryan and Marissa partake in a similar meeting. Elsewhere Jimmy meets a man and feels more than open to discuss his money problems with him.

I watched the first three episodes of the OC season 3 and I think that it's alright but weak compared to its usual high standards. Looking back from the seaon 1 dvd box set i bought, these new episodes are kinda boring. The only thing thats putting the spices back to action are Taylor Townsend and the new Dean of Discipline who's -ing me off.

And Jimmy Cooper...thanks he's out. He's character just doesnt do it for me.

I've seen the first 5 of the oc and i agree with u jaxology about Taylor Townsend and the Dean of Discipline!

Despite it's corny-ness.. I still watch The OC like any other fan. Even if it means downloading season 3 because Australia is so behind.

i've seem the oc season 3 1st epsiode. it was da best, but i was depressed because trey.....dont wana spoil it for ya.

i think marissa will go broke and some how sum 1 will brake up like always

It's a tad overrated IMO, but I still watch it for some unknown reason..

i know this is out of the topic thread, just curious, since ten didnt air the whole season 1 of OTH before, now that it's back, is this back to beginning of pilot of season 1? jumping to season 2?or the continuation of what was cutted of last time?!

Anyway, Smallville is in ten now! cant wait!
Veronica MArs looks promising. I read online once that it wasnt as big as THE OC but its a great series too...

With the oc back now...what do u guys think? i reckon it has lost its plot...i just think that with marissa bein in a public school... more friends..PS> more cast.....more new people...its like the story that is centred between the four (summer, seth, marissa and ryan) is goin nowhere.... anyway, it still is a hot teen drama..just nothin beats season 1 i guess


(maybe its all about preparation)
