I saw this movie last night.

It's an Aussie movie about five young guys in a band who love ACDC. After an ACDC concert they make a promise that if one of them dies, he will be buried next to the great singer of ACDC, Bon Scott in Perth. 12 years after the promise, one of them does die and the others make the road trip across Australia to fulfil that promise.

It's not a bad movie, but not terribly good either. The plot is simple, there are familiar faces throughout, and there's a few laughs. But it is really overdone. How they got Naomi Robson, host of Today Tonight, to make that many appearances.... there was really no need for it and there's a subplot about two boneheads who steeal the ashes, believing they are Bon Scott's.

See it if you want to have some fun, don't see it if you think this will change your mind about Australian films. Oh, and it has Saskia Burmeister in it as well, playing the wannabe girlfriend of one of the guys.

I give it 7.5 out of 10.

Oh, and there's lots of swearing, particularly the f word. Keep watching the credits for some funny scenes, at the last scene at the very end of the credits is very gross but pretty funny too.
