Who reckens they should have got a better Hayley? so far the only good acting shes done was wen she was giving birth and even then she was making weird noises

I hated her at the start but then i thought? WHY do i hate her there was nothing really besides that she replaced bec, everything happenes for a reason.

I have to agree - partly with u. I liked Bec Cartwright better as Hayley, and the new chick, lol ive forgotten what her name is! doesnt really fit into the role as good as Bec did. Im kinda biased, lol!
But i gotta admit she's doing an alright job as Hayley replacing Bec.

i think she's doing a good job because she has to put up with people saying is she gonna live up to bec's acting and stuff....so yeh

I like Ella, I think she's more sophisticated Loved all those pretty looking tops she was in while she was preggers Even though she was the size of a house, she still looked good I think she can act and fits in noicely.

Bec hasn't left yet over here but i'm kinda interested that someone else will be playing Hayley.
I think the problem is that she gets compared to Bec so much, Bec played Hayley for ages and in Aus she branched out into music etc so fans are gonna be a bit weird with someone replacing her. I don't think it's fair to say Ella is a crap actress or that you hate her though, it's incredibly difficult to take on the job of replacing such a long-serving cast member. She probably expects some critisism but jeez, it's just a job. Ella isn't Bec, simple as. They are different people so their acting is gonna be different. I think Ella has got enough pressure on her to put up to all the people who don't like the fact that her hair isn't the same colour as Bec's - she isn't going to act as Hayley the same way as Bec did - but now she is playing Hayley, she isn't playing Bec. Maybe she was cast as Hayley because the producers liked the fact that she looks nothing like her predecessor.
It was Bec's decision to leave the show and the script-writers probably had more storylines for her character so had no other option but to replace her.
Being annoyed 'coz Ella doesn't look like Bec is silly, does the guy who plays Flynn look anything like Martin Dinlge-Wall?
So...she isn't Bec's twin - it doesn't matter, wouldn't it be easier to just accept that Ella is now Hayley and stop criticising her acting? The show is there for entertainment, not for arguing over who is playing whatever character.

I haven't seen Ella act yet, but in my opinion Bec isn't a particularly good actress anyway, Ella doesn't have to do much to surpass Bec's acting 'talent'. Don't get me wrong, Bec can be convincing sometimes, but she's never gonna get close to getting any Oscars for it.

Ella is a great actress but i dont feel the part of Hayley is right for her. I think i keep comparing her to Bec and i know thats wrong as they are two different people but its hard coz wenever i think of Hayley, Bec always comes to mind.

i don't think they did a good job, she just dosen't have the right personality to play Hayley

I think she is a very good actress like when she forced irene to take the pills she didn't stutter coz some actors stutter when they are mad like holly brisley ... she's good but i don't think she's suited

Well If Ella was playing Hayley like forever and then Bec came you would be like shes crap and stuff cos of course she aint the Hayley we saw for like 3 years [ i think ] but So What? at least Hayley is still there.

i actually think the new hayley is really good, she is a good actress, but i kind of wish she played someone else,but since bec had to leave i think she is a great replacement! it must be hard for her getting compared all the time!.....i think once she has been on the show for awhile we will start to see her as hayley and not a replacement hayley.

we have not seen her yet but from what i heard she is doing a great job

she has very hard shoes to fill. Bec had played that role for so long so no matter who took over there would be soo many people that wouldn't like "the new girl"

i think she has done a great job i didn't like the idea that they looked nothing alike at first and it did take me a few weeks to get used to her but now, i'm used to it and i think she is doing really well to fill Bec's shoes

I was so angry when I found out they were replacing Bec. No one will ever replace Bec. I admit at the beginning I never liked the new Hayley but now I love her. I don'tlove her any where near asmuch as I did Bec but I really do like her. I reckon she did a great job on the birth scene to be honest

I think she's great! You can't compare Ella and Bec's portrayal of Hayley - their both different people and great actresses with their own ideas of what actions would best work for the character!

I don't really watch Home And Away but I find the new Hayley to be a new character not Hayley

I am starting to warm up to her. I still don't really like her, I still miss and prefer Bec. However, I don't think she will be on our screens much longer as Scott finds out he is Noah's (the baby) father next week and proposes to Hayley. They were also intending to travel to France, so if this does go on, they will leave pretty soon me thinks.
