Hey guys,

Didn't see a topic on tonight's performance show so thought I better start one

One word: TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally the first touchdown of the series and so deserving too imo. Emily just nailed the vocal and emotional content. I thought she looked beautiful despite what Kyle reckons (each week I'm less convinced he deserves to sit in that judging chair - so he doesn't like big band, deal with it!). I looked at her when she got that touchdown and I thought "winner". I am totally convinced Emily deserves to win the comp this year (or maybe come second - after all she'll probably make a better album)

I really thought Kate deserved a touchdown too but it wasn't to be, imo she got the emotional content just right, Mark's too picky. I was so stocked Anne was singing "Minnie The Moocher" - not as good as Tamyra Gray's version in American Idol 1 but still fantastic lol!

Milly was good, loved the song choice until it got a lil repetitive. Her voice just resonated with the big band sound, sounded fantastic, however three stronger performances from the other females makes it look like Milly will be in the bottom three again. Dan was okay, but I agree with Mark in that he needs to loosen up, it looked like he was thinking too hard. James was good, I reckon he should be okay as the teenybopper vote will get him over the line with the song choice surely. Lee looked... different lol! Song choice was bad and I'm sure he didn't wanna go first but it wasn't good enough imo. And Daniel... well I'm biased 'cause I've never liked the guy, but really tonight proved for me who deserves to be in and who should go home and you can guess where I think Daniel fits in

My bottom three: James, Lee, Daniel
My hope to go home: Daniel (who should have left a few weeks ago imo)

My prediction for bottom three: Milly, Daniel, Dan

Tonights Big Band show was soo crap. Bored the crap outta me. Soo crap it's just crap. And to top that crap James made it worse. Crap.

emily was the best, i hope milly or james or daniel will go i dont care for them 3 i think theyll b bottom 3,
i think emily anne and kate stoo out tonight...

theese are my predictions of who will b in the top 5 to top
Top 5: Kate, Lee, Dan, Emily Anne
Top 4: Lee, Dan, Emily Anne
Top 3: Lee, Dan, Emily
Top 2: Lee, Emily (but i want it to be anne and emily but lee is soo pouplar i think he might win even htough hes notmy fav

Can I ask why you didn't like it? Was it because it was big band and you didn't like the style or weren't familiar with the songs? Or was it you just didn't like the performances?

Hmm the 1st few performances of the night were quite boring (Lee, James, Daniel) so i turned it off but i just watched the replay now, the rest were pretty good.

Wow I actually Enjoyed last night, the 2nd half mostly.

Lee was still annoying and crap - I will never like him.
Dan - I like... He ain't nuthin special but I love hearing him sing
Milly - Was suposed to be her big night. But she was boring. I liked her hair tho!
Anne - She was good I thought she did a nice job. I get annoyed with when shes about to get comments from the judges
Kate - She was heaps good! One of my favs tonight!
James - Boring... Like always
Emily - My fav tonight, i loved her I always have and will.
Daniel - Boring

Yeah, I really hope Daniel goes, and i agree that he should have left long ago
I dont think Milly will go, she has a big fan base, and I thought her performane was really good
Lee did better than usual, but I dont like him

I liked the show last night. I was very impressed by Emily and Kate's performances. Anne was good too, and Milly definitely has the voice for jazz. But I didn't really like her song choice.

I didn't get to see all of Daniel's but from what I saw (on the voting thingy) he sung "feeling good". To me (and from what I saw), this wasn't a great choice from him. I mean, it could have gotten better, but he just sounded so flat. I absolutely love that song and I was dissapointed with how he sung it (especially it being a modern-ish song because of Michael Buble's version. It made me what to compare him to MB and he really just doesn't compare).

Can't wait for tonight's result!

LEe was bad as always, btu he'll probably win . Kate was my fave, followed by Emily, Anne and Milly. James and Daniel were boring. Danw as alright, but he's done better!!

I'll never get why Lee is still in there though

But with milly, she has been in the bottom 3 lots, i think her votes stayed the same so as more people left it just came to her turn to leave.

I agree, it was just her time to go. She doesn't have the fan base that some of them do.

I wasn't fussed with Mondays' result. I've liked Milly but never loved her. Although Lee had the worst performance of the night.

Based on talent, the Final 5 should be imo: Emily, Kate, Anne, Dan and Daniel. But due to lil teenage girls James and Lee won't be going anywhere unfortunately.

I wish Lee would just go away already. Actually that goes for pretty much everyone this year. I can't stand this years idol. It's so - compared to the last 2 years.

haha I reckon hey. They're bother very average singers who sing on key very rarely and when they do it, its horrid anyway. It make it unfair for incredibly talented singers like Emily who is by far the best vocalist and should be the most popular if it was ever based on vocals. but unfortunately image plays a part and the teenage girls jump towards those who are apparently "attractive" whilst my mum n sis wanna vommit at the site of James and Lee.

I still want Lee and James to get the least votes, or loose their voices permanantly... But it STILL hasn't happened

I hope no girls are in the bottom 3 next week, more chances for those two and daniel to leave!

I know! I was thinking about this myself a couple days ago... I don't understand why they did that when imo there were a lot better singers to choose from in the wildcard

I agree. The first season was by far the best but it's kept going down after that. I think there are some incredible singers though (Emily, Kate, Anne, Roxy) but overall it doesn't "pull you in" like the first season did
