Hey guys,

So I was checking the TV extract from Wednesday's paper from this week 'cause I hadn't read it yet and I got the shock of my life (in a good way of course) - THE APPRENTICE 4 IS STARTING NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's coming on Tuesday nights at 10:30pm - right after Rove! (that's the excusse I gave to Mum so I could stay up and watch it - I'll be up anyway!)

I don't really know much about this season, except once again there are 18 candidates vying to be Donald Trump's apprentice I'm a huge fan of the show, it's one of my three fave shows (the others being The OC and Gilmore Girls) and it is just such an interesting and enjoyable ride in one of the toughest jungles in the world, New York City. If anyone hasn't seen this show before, give it a go! It is about business but it's also about relationships and survival and achieving your dreams. The 18 people chosen are always exceptional in their fields yet it's never smooth sailing! For the past two years it has been nominated as Outstanding Reality Show at the Emmy's and was the highest-rating new show of the season when it made its debut in the 2003-2004 season (I believe that was the time).

When previous series' have aired in Australia it has become evident there are a number of Apprentice fans here on the forum, so I thought I'd turn this into an official thread where we can post each week about the Donald's decision and review about the show, as well as maybe post news we find on the net if we want to.

I will ask however if you want to post spoilers, PLEASE CLEARLY STATE (preferably in another colour to catch the reader's eye) YOUR POST CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!!!!!!! I cannot stress this enough. I for one really dislike spoilers about my fave shows so it would be great that if you're going to post who leaves before it's aired on Australian TV that you do this!

Yes I did see the first ep last night and I loved it! I must admit the whole going to the golf course thing threw me a bit because that was unexpected and tbh seemed like a bit of a waste of time, I guess Trump was just doing the intro there because he was working there when they needed to film it.

I think these candidates seem very knowledgable but some seem a little arrogant. So glad Melissa's gone, she was like "I'm hispanic, hispanic people will only listen to me" and she just kept talking 100 miles per hour. She really did annoy the team and would have certainly annoyed me had I been on their team. I think Kristi is also annoying lol I dunno why, she just annoys me. I thought the guys did well but yeah Markus asking the guys "is there something I'm not doing" - you don't ask your employees that! Not that I have experience with that but it's just something I'm aware of. You as project manager should handle all these things and make sure you have everything under control, that's a primary task of the PM

There are a couple of people who I can see will probably go far. It's a bit too soon to tell who will be the real go-getter types and who will fly under the radar.

I must admit although I did enjoy it, like every season I never think it's going to be as good as the last season, but then a few eps in and I think it's better lol! I guess you just gotta get used to the people and the different dynamic of the group.

I'm here.. Sorta... The past month or so has been rather hectic. I started working at David Jones in the city on top of uni so I get alot of time to do anything these days LOL.

But The Apprentice... I did watch it... It's gonna be a good season. Same formula. Lots of bitchiness... Creative tasks. Personally, I thought Melissa was hilarious and I wanted her to stay just for entertainment purposes. Other than that, she's a complete utter stubborn up-herself bit ch.

I agree with all your comments lol! Bit surprised also Donald Trump didn't split them up differently, least last season was book smarts vs. street smarts.

Well I found last night's ep to be very entertaining! Already I'm starting to get into this season's dynamic and getting used to the characters that are surfacing.

I think honestly I would have acted a little like the guys, feeling pretty confident about our campaign and whenever that happens, usually as Carolyn says you miss vital facts. It's always best to be a little underconfident so you don't have as high expectations and can build up rather than have to scale down. I would have found it exciting though to shoot a commercial for Lambourghini (sp?)! The females did do a better job though but I do see where the males are coming from, explaining every facet of their campaign although as a consumer you should just be able to view it quickly and get the understanding of the campaign straight away, it shouldn't be too mundane.

I thought the prize for the winning team was great, ice hockey with the New York whatever-they're-called lol! I've never played before but I like iceskating and it would have been a lot of fun I'm sure.

I think Markus was acting poorly when he leapt in and said he agreed with the judges' decision of how his team didn't do as well. Sure he might have picked a few things up but as Donald Trump said, it was a question of loyalty and I've learnt from other eps that you just don't do that to your team. I hope he goes soon like Donald Trump said he probably would.

Did anyone else watch it last night? If so, what did you think of it?

I dunno if anyone caught The Apprentice last night but it was really good I thought. The two teams had to run an expo to teach elderly people at a retirement village how to use electronic equipment like computers, TVs, digital cameras and then the elderly people had to fill out a survey on their expo on whether they enjoyed it or now. Jennifer M was hilarious, she was flirting with this elderly man and like doing push-ups on the floor near his chair and then the elderly man said to Carolyn "if my wife was here right now I'd be dead" LMAO!!! I can't remember what exactly she was meant to be demonstrating besides herself lol!

The guys won and it was pretty obvious they would. The design for the women's expo sucked compared to the men's. The reward the men got for winning was great too - they gave all this electronic equipment to children at a nearby hospital!

Jennifer W deserved firing however I think Rebecca, while seeming very loyal, is a little too accepting of Tora. I personally haven't seen any fantastic things from her yet

This week's ep was good, Toral seemed totally up herself thinking none of the other women deserved to be there. I agree though there did seem to be alliances happening but I think it was mostly 'cause she seemed so fricken annoying! LOL!

And LMAO about the genie character they did a good job with that

i have not got to see any of the episodes yet because i have been studying for exams but i want to watch it this week so could somebody please fill me in on what has happened and what people are like because i have watched the orthe series and really loved them

IVE NMISSED THE PAST 2 WEEKS!!!

Well don't miss the start of tonight's - it will recap last week's and show when Donald fired four candidates! I was like *jaw on the floor*

I missed the start because Delta was on Rove of course, but I caught most of it. I think Adam was really good in the boardroom from what I saw and it was hilarious Donald giving Adam - advice, bahahahahaha I'm so glad Markus is gone, annoyed me so much and then you see his bit which all the contestants say in the camera in the taxi and he was like mumbling couldn't put two words together, and then he was like "I was direct to the point" and it was hilarious!

Clay was really mad at Adam though, going back to the suite in the elevator he was like "don't talk to me" and then when he entered the suite he stormed in. I must've missed something here. I know Clay was being accused of being against Jews but then Adam defended him and said he was sure Clay wasn't, so I'm not sure what that was about. If someone watched it and can fill me in that'd be great

Well after last night it's down to the final two. I must admit I thought Felicia being fired was warranted, she was PM and she lost considerably and Carolyn believed her to be the weakest player left. However Alla I did not think should have been fired. Alla has long been my fave, she has all the knowledge and the skills to be Mr Trump's apprentice and I think she's better equiped than anyone.

I'm glad however both Rebecca and Randal made it to the final two, Rebecca is my other fave but Randal kinda flew under the radar with me as in I didn't really notice him much in the tasks apart from the last couple for some reason. IMO it should have been Alla vs. Rebecca but oh well.

Should prove to be very interesting next week!
