Hey guys,

I wanted to start this thread to see what people thought of tonight's performance show. I FREAKIN' LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMO one of the best performance shows ever in Aus Idol.

My faves were in order:

Emily - SHE NAILED IT!!!!!!! Since I heard her practice this on Inside Idol I was blown away - she has the Aretha quality and tone to her voice. Pushed it a lil at the start in the second part of the first verse so it wasn't perfect like Kyle said it was but still, best performance of the night!!!!!!!

Lee - Perfect song choice for him, just picked up the vibe and really had fun with it. What I'd been wanting to see since "Holy Grail" which I didn't really like (although being a footy fan I love the original).

Roxane - She picked probably my fave 60's song "You Can't Hurry Love", I can't help but dance to it whenever I hear it! She did a really good job!

Kate - Loved it! Great song choice for her range and voice and the oufit she had on suited the 60's so stick it Kermit! (aka Mark Holden)

I also loved Natalie (my fave - I hope she'll win) but she didn't perform that well tonight and her vocals seemed a lil sharp. Anne I liked a lot too and James as well!

Dan was the worst followed by Laura, although her vocals were good tonight. Dan didn't give it the grunt the song needed. I knew immediately once I found out he had picked that song you can either be great or fall flat on your face and he did that face-flat Laura - DON'T FREAKIN' SMILE!!! Besides you know you'll be compared to Kelly Clarkson's version, I'm surprised that didn't come up in the judges' comments.

Disappointed with Milly's performance, was really happy to hear she chose "Do You Love Me" 'cause I love that song but she didn't give it enough energy. I couldn't help but compared it to Diana DeGarmo's version and yeah, pale in comparison

I think that's the majority of them so yeah, my bottom three would be Dan, Laura and Milly with Dan to go home - I will admit I never liked him but I think he dug himself a grave tonight.

Tonight was awesome.

Kate was ok, she looked better than last week, i don't see her staying long.

Dan was ok i guess, shoulda gone with a bigger song.

Daniel [spillane] was shocking, shoulda chosen a diff song

Roxy was meh, i don't like her in general, she has a really baby-ish voice and it annoys me.

Lee shoulda chosen a better song. I don't like him in the slightest and tonight didn't make me change my mind.

James was awesome haha, im glad he got up and walked around and stuff

Milly was ok, shoulda given it more energy

Laura was ok, i agree with the judges on the smiling thing. I tipped her to leave this week.

Anne was kinda boring for me. I've never really found her overly interesting.

Emily was pretty good, i like her, she sang that song well.

Natalie, i can't remember what she sang and therefore i forgot to add her to this list! Can't have been too spectacular if i cant remember it 1 hour after it happened.

Natalie sung "Dancing In The Street" which imo was a bad song choice. It's so stylised, you really can't put your own stamp on it

Kate - okay but I didn't like, bottom 3!

Dan - good, I liked

Daniel - wasn't the best, possible bottom 3!

Roxy - okay, should just scrape in above the bottom 3

Lee - good, nothing special, above bottom 3

James - okay, nothing too special, bottom 3!

Milly - good, sang well but didn't move to the music, perhaps she's the youngest one there and a little shy, above bottom 3

Laura - good, did her personal best tonight.....with the smiling thing - I'd hardly noticed that she shouldn't have smiled, who cares. Above bottom 3

Anne - okay, she was back to her usual perfomance, last week was much better, but because of last week, she may not be in the bottom 3 this week, although she deserves to be, judging by her performance today

Emily - good, but I didn't like. Above bottom 3

Natalie - good, again nothing special, but good enough to not be included in the bottom 3.

This years Idol is such a good bunch!

Kate has been a favourite of mine since the start, and she did a great job tonite.

Dan... one very talented young man!!

I personally don't think Dan Spilane did as bad as the judges made out, he stuffed one or two notes. I'd love to see Lee and James in the bottom 2 and one of them going home, but time will tell.

i dont care who goes nemore lol its all rigged in the end thats why roxanne got in with that weird annoying tone

Kate- was ok.... i liked her hair... her outfit did nothing 4 me, same with her song choice

Dan- LUVED IT!!

Daniel [spillane]- my god, could he have been any worse?

Roxxanna- still sounded like she was on helium. i really HATE her

Lee-i argued wif my mum over him. (she thinks he's not right 4 Australian Idol.) BUT I WAS SINGING ALONG AND HAVING FUN!

James- finally Mr Spunky comes out of his shell!!! GO JAMES!!

Milly- not ya best Milly

Laura- SIMPLY THE BEST! BETTER THAN ALL THE REST! lol

Anne- luved the dress. her emotions were very high 4 that one

Emily- very good.

Natalie- she can't dance to a song! she picks up tempo songs and she doesn't groove! WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER!?!?!?!?

DAN..was far way the best!!!Loved his song!!!!!Sooo awesome!

I loved Emily too!She rocked the house!!

They were all great!!

I was disappointed with Mr Spillane, but I think it was mainly song choice. And his performance wasn't bad IMO.

I hope he'll be back so he can prove everyone wrong, and get the chance to sing 'Moondance' because he sings a killer version

I really liked James, he finally came outta his shell and performed like a real hero!

i no dan was crap, wrong keyes and so flat, but laura was preatty good actually, im surprised, did kelly c do a version of the laura song, i wanna hear it, i love kc
