Kate kicked out
Girl next door Kate became everyone's neighbor when she was put into the BB house. Love her or hate her, this self-confessed 'princess' certainly made an impression during her BB adventure.
Kate's prediction that the HMs wouldn't get along with her seemed to be spot on when she first entered the house. Before going in, she told us: "I am a big personality and do not have the ability to bite my tongue or stay under the radar." She proved herself on her first night in the house by getting caught in a fiery argument with Dean over the rights and wrongs of peer pressure. In the days that followed, she had more run-ins with Dean and his mate Nelson, at times even copping outright abuse from the two of them.
Despite a difficult beginning, Kate managed to find her feet in the weeks that followed. Tim took a particular shining to Kate and the pair enjoyed a unique relationship which was mostly based on bickering and sarcasm, but no doubt built on genuine affection for each other.
Soon after, the other boys started to share Tim's opinion. At the calendar shoot after party, sexy police woman Kate had the boys lining up for a dance with the belle of the ball. Christie, Vesna and Rachael confided to BB that they were worried about the extra attention Kate was getting from the male HMs. This only intensified as they watched her cuddle with Glenn, wrestle with Hotdogs and snuggle with David, oblivious to the dirty looks aimed her way.
The self-confessed "goody two-shoes" showed a darker side to her personality after a few wines during the Masters and Servants task. Unfazed, Kate came out on top at BB's boot camp, even eating her way through pig's testicles, snails, fish eyes and an entire raw onion to beat Tim to a weekend in the Rewards Room.
During her last few weeks in the house Kate faced a whirlwind of conflict. She pashed intruder Heath, before admitting: "I really like Greg." The rift between her and Christie grew wider when Christie revealed she had told the boys of Kate's secret crush. Angry and humiliated, Kate stayed away from Christie, preferring to confide in her fellow princess Melanie. She attempted to apologise for her behaviour to Greg, before deciding to wash that Greg right out of her hair. Giving up on any romantic aspirations she decided to place Greg in to the category as Tim, 'just friends'. Turns out they're friends with benefits, as Tim proved when he donated part of his FNL prize - a family video message - to Kate.
Before she came in, Kate claimed 'Do unto others as you would have done unto you' as her personal motto. Despite a few slip-ups, she stuck to her guns and tried her best to deal diplomatically with her fellow HMs. She put the boys under her spell and made the girls jealous and, in the end, got herself booted when Tim used his three-point advantage to save Greg, accidentally jeopardising Kate and indirectly putting an end to his quest to get close to her.
