So Delta said it was just a song of random ramblings and all that stuff... but I see a timeline that seems to make sense... does anyone else agree?
like it seems to go through stages that could be related to her life.

I love that song. I think the chorus sort of paints a picture of the cancer treatment. Being diagnosed. Not caring what time it is, because you don't have to be anyway you know? I know because when my mom had cancer she would always think that it's last week when it was the week after does it make sense? like time doesn't matter. And the end, recovering and starting your life again.

Yes... thats why it made sense to me
like she said it was random... but to me I could see her going through stages of diagnosis...treatment...and...recovery.
and hmm didn't realize it wasn't a word... lol

Disorientated is a word!! 'Disoriented' is not though. I just looked in the dictionary and it says:
Disorientate (Disorientates, Disorientated): Confuse someone so that they lose their bearings.

I think it's more about the past year than anything else, not an autobiography of things that have occured throughout her lifetime. I think it's about coming face to face with a new world and having to adjust to the change she's had to deal with... Especially this bit "Things are changing/so much arranging of my life/ I must take hold/ I'll keep on spinning until I find myself... again"

disoriented and disorientated mean the same thing. disoriented is the american/aussie way of saying disorientated.

I always thought that disorientated (the word) was a little clumsy, even redundant. And I've always wondered if it was meant to be disorientated or disoriented. Because you "orientate yourself", but don't "orient yourself".
on the Simpsons Hit and Run game it has people saying "I'm scared and disoriented" so disoriented must be american. So would they say "I'm oriented"?
And disorientated isn't in dictionary.com. Here's what the New Penguin English Dictionary says:
disorient - verb trans, chiefly N American. See disorientate
disorientated - verb trans, 1. (usu in passive), to deprive (somebody) of the normal sense of position, relationship or identity. 2. to confuse somebody.
Usage note: disorientate or disorient? Both forms of the word are correct. Disorient is more often used in American English, disorientate in British English.

That's a great finding...I study british english over here so I guess people will use disorientate than disorient
