Has anyone noticed that Christmas Number One songs these days aren't even anything to do with Christmas. Even if there are new Christmas songs in the charts they neva get to number one.

I dont see why it should be any different from any other week, music-wise.

I for one hate the cheesy jingles that come out, and sell purely for novelty.

Whats that got to do with it? mad.gif SOME of Uk's songs are bad, but they're are nice memorable ones. Stop bagging on the UK all the time.

He wasn't dissing the UK... He is British. He was saying that Australia don't make such a big deal and have such a history about their Christmas number 1s.

I love Chritmas, just for the pure cheese that some bands come up with...

I think The Darkness' song was quite good, and that was christmasy...

But I don't think the Christmas number 1's compare with the 70's and the 80's (Wizzard, Slade, Cliff Richard...) they were cheesy but christmasy...

peace and love amy-jane xx
